We had to strip a lot of adhesive residue left over from whatever PO decided to goldify it.

It's still not done, and the console needed a heat gun, scraper, and about a gallon of GooGone. It's still pretty rough and will now require painting.

Before the carpet was reinstalled we replaced the fuel sender. I want to replace the pump, too, but we'll do that this winter after it gets painted and I get new carpets for it. This was fun to help with and learn about.

...with the exception of the driver's, which will hopefully be done before the end of next week.

He has to redo the top for this Rolls and the entire interior of this truck, but my small project bumped me ahead of these guys.

We will be utilizing Dobinson’s MRR adjustable shocks…. First time for me with these high tech shocks.

Thanks to @wngrog for spending my wife’s money for her and for Jason at @Ozark cruiser for the great customer service. **highly recommend**

I generally recommend new rear upper shock mounts as well.

Originally, I didn't think we were gonna go in this direction.

My texts with Nolen led me to think this suspension would work best for a lightweight set-up, but a subsequent conversation with Beno and @Ozark cruiser led me to think this was the right one for me, despite the fact that this truck will eventually have all the weight that the Hundy has (sans roof rack--love how it looks without one).

I want to be able to run trails (with better capability and less pulling line than we have to with the 100) with our usual crew. But I still want to love its handling.

I know it's a tall order.

But I think we are on our way...
