I have a dashpad, not perfect tho.

Has a few cracks in the middle somewhere. I took it out when I built my dashbox storage bin thing.

I pressure washed blondie. Got bored with a half gallon of semi gloss black. I call it a complete frame off rebuild. Lmao. I only did 70% because the power steering box is leaking bad because of a corroded steering shaft. I have another shaft from a first gen pickup. Unfortunately they sit on the pedistol approximately 30 degrees differently. Doh! I’ve never rebuilt a PS box before so Cold feet I guess?

Or the 16” of steel to stretch the 40 series frame?

Looks like a big restoration went into this ol gal 15 years ago. Some nice sheet metal work and metal fab on the bumpers. There’s some body cross members that need some or a lot of love. I’m thinking of replacing the entire length but who knows? I tend to cut corners here and there.

Just winged it and ordered a 70$ rock auto fj60 ebrake cable. It was a dick length too short so I fudged it. Tlc purest be hating.

It was missing the clutch slave. I had one sitting on the shelf but after installing it, bench bled the master and bled all the air out of the system, I'm pretty sure the master is pooched? The last owner tried installing ford ranger seats in it . It came with the originals but the drivers side upholstery is ripping at the seams. Im not rushing to drop another 2 grand to redo them anytime soon.

It wasn't exactly cheap but I think I got a decent deal, any guesses?

Getting creative!! 3ways installed. Side markers too because it’s the LAW. Saving the fun stuff for last. Wiring!!!! Although I have brake lights, running lights but nothing from the indicator lights. Nothing on the dash, no signal in the wires. Any tips???

From the description of your problem, i would start with the easiest things, making sure the dash has a ground, anf the indicator lights aren't burnt out.

After that i would suggest that you gave two options, either to try to correct the original wiring or just being bad some power for the dash but indicators.

If all you want is the missing indicators I would check if you have power at the switch or on the steering wheel and steal from there for a high beam indicator. I dont remember if the flasher is before or after the switch on the column, but either you can get power from there to the dash or just take it from somewhere further down the harness where the light blinks. 3 wires plus a ground, shouldn't be so difficult

I would expect you to need at least one bulb in order for the flasher to click on and off... Definitely start with that...

There is no sound. In my BJ40 I can hear the relay click and I can actually feel it by my left foot. Gotta love analog.

That's the plan, just had to mount them first.

So sad that it took me 25 years of mechanics to finally pull the trigger on wiring loom. Always room to improve with your life skills.

All the runnings lights are lit up. Signals all connected but still nothing. Time for more head scratching. Ugh!
