When I last put the hardtop and doors on several years ago, I think I adjusted the door latches too tight (don't like the doors rattling). Over time, the latches got harder to pull, to open the doors, and the driver's side one finally broke. Now I'm going to have to take the doors apart and rebuild the insides and get new handles, but I'm waiting to get my shop space free (currently it's full of furniture and household stuff) so I can take the hard top and off and have somewhere to work on them. I hope that's only a month or two away.

I may have overestimated how many 40s series are on the road. It seems as if we’ve captured all 10 of them that are known to still exist that are roadworthy and apparently seven of them are in Montana.

I guess we should move to posting FJ55’s?

Per Mark’s @65swb45 tuned ear, I adjusted my valves after I got back home and re-set my wheel bearings as I could feel a little play.
I’m trying to get the carb retuned to sea level but having a hard time for some reason it isn’t my forte.

Been working and staying out of town for work. 4 days up, one day back home, 4 days up, and 5 days backs home .Rinse and repeat Decided to take the 40 up with me so I can drive it around while I’m up there. We are currently setting steel for a small 2nd story addition on a high school
