Depending on the shims that you get, your center pins will most likely need to be longer to reach the perch, plus be long enough to sandwich the shim with the spring pack. Think of them as if you were adding in another leaf.
Thanks for the swift response. Sully is an 81 according to the registration papers, a Japanese import into the UK a few years ago. This is a petrol short wheelbase 40. I have attached a better picture.

First what year is it? Your title should have that could be a 81. Is it gas or diesel? Is it a short 40 series like your pic, longer 43 Troopy or 45 pickup perhaps a station wagon 55.

Engine mounts were welded in at 3 degrees tilt to the rear and thats how the whole shebang is sitting in there now. Engine is offset 1.5” to the driver’s side. Looks like the steering shaft will work out perfectly running below the power steering...
Remove the slave and place the fork so the bearing is not in contact , then make a new mounting braket for the slave to fit this fork position , at the same time make the braket offset so the push rod is more inline
