Not that bad. Self-extraction was easy with all those trees around. While it was sucking me down, it was mostly pulling me sideways, perpendicular to the trail.I was puckering just looking at that 4Runner's rear end slipping off.
Is this the truck with the 4.3 I saw at Lukes a couple years ago?

Its a beaut, I asked Luke if it was for sale. I’m sure you get that a lot. I’ll be down that way once or twice this year.
Thanks! I put 37" Trepadors on it and love them but I am going to need to clearance a little bit but I don't want to affect the look of the wheel wells much so that is my next project. I previously had 37' procomp MT2 on it and they cleared fine. Its a beaut, I asked Luke if it was for sale. I’m sure you get that a lot. I’ll be down that way once or twice this year.
I approve this message. I need to get back down to Big Bend. It's only been 25 years. Not the most exciting but, a big winter storm changed our plans for a camping & hiking trip. (Texans aren't use to snow & ice)
Rather than canceling entirely, I switched to Plan B. Get a hotel room in Fort Davis and tour West Texas.
Ft Davis, Marfa, Presidio, Bend State Park, Lajitas, Terilingua & Alpine.

Alberta is on my list. With any luck BC, Yukon, and NwT will happen this summer.Last weekend adventures in west central Alberta, sunny and bright. Still lots of snow to be found in the hills. First run on manual swapped '85. A fresh convert is learning the ways of the wrench and the woods.
