me too. Those are badass

there should be no difference on a 40......all my OEM and aftermarket steel wheels have gone back and forth from 60 to 40

Anyone happen to try these on a 40-series?

@SoCalJB do you have pictures with rubber on them. I really like these wheels

When I purchased them I spoke with Dustin (very informative and helpful) and he had never seen/put these on a 62 before. So, he took one of them to a local parts yard near him to try one on the front/rear axle to confirm the hubs could clear. With that, he recommended that we machine the center to 108.1" to clear the center hub on the front. I got 'em and they slide right on - no fitment issues. My biggest concern going into this was clearing the TRE, which they do.

BTW- A set comes with 4 center caps and 4 center bore plastic rings to make sure they align just like the OEM wheels from Toyota. Really a well thought out product. I am only using the caps on the rear since the fronts are what they are, but the rear looked unfinished without the center cap.

Not mine, but wanted to post in case anyone curious.
62 on 18's, 305/60 nitto grapplers.
Yes there are spacers and also noted a significant loss of turning radius compared to my 60. Suspension appeared to be stock with a leaf or 2 added in rear. I say bleh.

Thanks that's a good option. I'm not sure I want to trust 4 inch backspacing but alas everyone does their own research. When I went High Steer I was hoping that the TRE would just miss but alas they don't the calipers don't rub but turning is hell on the side walls. I know lots of people like the spacer option and with 6 thousand miles on them I have no complaints but I would rather not use them just another thing to potentially fail.

I caught up to this thread, realized I might be able to add updated info. 4" BS works great with my 17x9 rims. I've put 25000 kms and some
really tough back road trips with zero rubbing or clearance issues. I'm running the 285/75R17 Toyo MT's. I only wish the quality of finish
of the Pro Comp wheels was better. The Toyo's are 34" on OME medium springs, and they might stuff up high in the wheel wells, they don't touch.
I have found no other 17x9" wheels in alloy that fit a 60. If anyone finds this size, please post!! 3.5" or 4" BS. I could run 8" rims, but I
am more comfortable with 9" with this tire. Updated photo from last fall.

got specific part number or link to the specific wheel? thanks..

put some fnwheels.com countersteer X coloered standard gunmetal on the 60 over the weekend. I had to use 1 inch bolt on spacers with my OME lift and springs to gain clearance with these size Nitto Terra Grapplers on full suspension flex and steer (fit close to springs, not TRE). Probably would have fit with stock suspension. This wheel and tire combination probably weighs in at half the weight my older black steelies and 35x12.5x17 Md T/A. This sure came in handy when I had to do an emergency stop on Saturday evening to avoid a pedestrian that stepped out in front of a heavy 60 going 40 MPH.

Thanks, @Landpimp. I've swapped stock and 3.625" alloy wheels between a 40 and a 60 and it was fine as you say. When I eyeballed the 40, it looked like weights on steel wheels with a 4" backspace might touch the TRE. I might order a single from Summit to be sure before getting the whole set.

FYI to others: the link earlier in this thread to Summit for the 16x8 D-Window steel wheel with 4" backspace goes to a page that says "Not Available". I think this is the same wheel (note the part numbers), and price is now $64.

Your 60 looks awesome! What's the name of that color?

Wheels that work. No spacers. Tracker Level 8 - 15x8 -30 offset, from Discount Tire. Plenty of TR and caliper clearance, seem well made, and sit really well under the truck with OME lift. Tire 32x11.5x15 BFG AT (new model). Very happy with the ride. Sorry for blinding you with the neighbors house, the sun was this direction..

Thanks! Very pleased with them as well. I had planned on keeping the stock chromies, but since Discount wouldn't mount a 10.5 on them any longer, I ended up needing the wheels if I wanted anything over a 30" tire. Not bad price-wise, $105 a piece, but the dude at Discount gave me a good deal on them for the previous two attempts at steel wheels that didn't fit (according to their 'fitment list' they should have). Overall, very happy with them.

IBF62, Discount tire shows several to choose from for the tracker Level 8. Do you know which you one you ended up with?

Txnight, they are 6/5.5 with a -30 offset. I think they were the only model in a 6/5.5 pattern, as I don't recall any debating about offset with those..
