Another shout for SCS wheels. Inspired by @cruiserpilot I went a slightly different route with the Gen5 wheels vs the F5. This was in large part due to availability where I am, but I'm very happy with the look. Details are: 9"x17" 3.5"BS (-38mm offset) wrapped in 285/70R17 KO3s. Vehicle is sitting on a OME lift (previous owner), though I don't know the specs.

That's got old-school dish to it. Nice! Didn't realize they had added a design. No idea what that colour is, but
very cool!

Love the wheels!! do you have spacers?

did you have to re-gear given these are 17's and 70" tall tires?

Thanks.

Thanks. No spacers required. The -38mm offset (9" wide with 3.5" backspacing) seems to work out just fine, at least with the small lift I have. I was coming off a 10 year old set of Goodyears Wrangler Duratracs that were 33"x12.5" R15 (stock wheels). The 285/70/R17 works out to be just slightly shorter (32.7") and more than an inch narrower (11.2"). In terms of re-gearing, I'm 95% sure I'm stock. Previous owner may have re-geared, but based on the speedometer readings I get vs GPS speed I doubt the ratio's have been changed. Full disclosure though, my LC is 95% on-road.

I took a chance on a set of 16” steelies from a 2017 Tacoma. Research showed the modern truck 106mm hub bore wouldn’t be enough to clear the front hubs, but when I mounted them up, all 5 cleared. Snug, but fit.

Not sure if a QC issue or most modern steelies are actually measuring larger than factory on the hub bore, so take at face value here.

These look great.

Here are the Nomad Arvo 17 x 8.5 -25 rims. I have stock axles, no spacers and no modificaations to the width. The tires are 285/75 r17 BFG All Terrain KO3. My suspension is a new OME heavy / heavy.

This tire is 33.8" x 11.3" per BFG

I would have preffered a simple steel rim but this is really the only wheel I could find with the extreem by todays standards offset.

those look really good! nice find

Is anyone running 8x15 et -25 with 33x12.5 geolandar a/t G015? I’m trying to figure out if they poke out beyond the wheel arch flares. I’m currently running 8x16 et -22 Mickey Thompson wheels and 315/75r16 mud terrains. I expect only a slight change outwards compared to the current set up but would be great to know if someone else is running this set up.

Ideally I’d like to use the same wheels with 285/75s but I cannot find a reputable all season all terrain tyre in Europe at a reasonable price. Only BFGs but over 300 euros per piece, that’s insane.
