Sorry if I wasn't clear. My comment was about @engelchad's inquiry about these wheels:

I wish I'd gotten the smoothies! Didn't know about them at the time...:-(

thanks, smoothies are the route I am going...I think. Had the black D windows for 10+ years, time for a change(and can move to the 45). Now to decide 16x7" or 8"

Landpimp, Im sure you have thought of this but I think it depends on what size tire you want to run. I like the 16x7s for anything up to a10.5 inch wide tire, but for a wider tire than that I would run at least an 8" wide wheel.

thanks. going to be 255/85/16 on 16x7 or 285/75/16(or the 295's off my 100) on 16x8.

I run 33x10.5's on both 8's(60) and 5.5's(40)

I would like to run 255/85/16 on the OEM 16x6 but I don't think it would work well.

I hear you. Im kind of a wheel/tire whore myself so I have 3 combinations of tires/wheels for my 62. The P78s on gray 16x7s, a set of 33x1250 BFG KO2s on 15x8 white wagon wheels, and a set of 31x1050 Michelin LTX ATIIs on white FJ40 steelies. I swap them out depending on mood and terrain.

Landpimp, update us when you do this. I've been thinking of taking the 285/75-16s off my 100, mounting them on 16x8 Smoothies for the 60, and then getting something new for the 100. I'd like to know how the 16x8s fit on the 60 and how the 285s fit on the wheels.

Anybody know where I can get ATX Mojave Teflon coated 15x8 and BFG AT KO? Tirerack said that size is discontinued in the Teflon finish.

I ordered this combo from them earlier this year (needed a 5th/spare to match what the PO put on the truck).

Yeah I thought I wanted the 16x6 splits then I learned about the tubes, then I looked into the Tacoma spares and discovered you needed spacers so I moved on and then found these.

How much do these steelies weigh?

Stock wheels off of a 96-01 4runner. 16x7 aluminum wheels, with some 30% 285/75/16 bfg a/t's with no lift. Running a 1 1/4“ spacer on the front that is hub centric but also running the stock shoulder lug bolts from the 4runner these came from. No spacer in the back. Little rubbing in the rear under full articulation but my lift is in the mail.

Considering the front is wider than the rear to begin with I would run a rear spacer with that set-up.

1.5" front and rear probably.

Love the wheels. I believe those come off of the SR5 Sport Trim which is very desirable. The more common "6 spoke" ones are hideous.

Yeah when looking down the side of the truck the rear wheels do look a little too tucked but from just the side profile you can't tell. I've definitely considered it, just haven't pulled the trigger on it yet.

They ain't light, I think I still have a box that one of them came in that has the weight on the shipping label, I'll check

These are doing the trick for me. 16x6 with 235/85r16's. I actually picked them up for my '40 but since it's a ways from being roadworthy they are the '62 which came with bald 32x9.5 swampers on stock wheels.

Dexstar 16x6 steel wheels, PN 017-144-12. Fit with no mods and the best part ....all of $37.44 each.

I Got them from a local shop for about $40 a piece. So, $160 for wheels, and you can get a set of 4 BFG KO2's in 235/85 for $580 shipped from 4Wheel Drive Hardware. Can't beat that combo for $740. (I was going to buy a set the other week , it was $536 shipped last time I looked, but the prices went up! Dang! I bought the wife a set of Blizzaks for the 4Runner instead..)

How much do these steelies weigh?

So the wheels came in two sets of two boxes. One set, consisting of two wheels, each in its own box, has a shipping label with the weight of 63 lbs on printed on it. So take out the weight of the boxes and packaging, and Im guessing my 16x7s weigh about 28-29 lbs each.

Thanks for looking up the weight "89". The Stealth F5s are 19lbs each. I am going to have to think if 10 lbs a wheel is worth the extra $50 per wheel.
