What about front fenders? Are they all the same?

But other than the cosmetic differences, they still all fit all years?
Pig production is said to have ceased in 8/80. I think the last production date I have ever seen on a Pig was July of '80. I think it was @FirstPig or @Finalpig who had it, in Australia?
Pablo,
Good write up. Some of that gets very confusing. Anybody know when they went from 3 speed on the column, then to the floor, then to the four speed? 71 was on the column, but wasn't 72 on the floor.
BASTARDMy 73 is a 4 speed on da flo![]()
I bought a 1972 pig in 1973. It had 3,200 miles on it and the plastic protection still on the door panels. I think it was a March production. 3 speed on the floor, transfer on the floor, no smog per say, no head rests, ball joint antenna on the right fender, no AC, triangle windows on front doors, non retractable seat belts with an optional attachable shoulder strap ( light grey) and no seat belt warning light, no rear vent, yellow cast type bottle jack that I still have (it's in my 77).
Homemade roof rock and home grown heavy duty bumper (bicycle deflector). Curtains all the way round. Platform inside with drawer underneath. Have pics I will try to load.
Drove it to near death, restored it and drove it till the roof rusted off. It was my daily driver, work truck (construction), party taxi, RV, 4wheeler, airplane, helicopter, submarine and sexmobile.
Man I miss those days.
Sorry for getting off track. The memories got the better of me.![]()
