It came with the VSS for my 700R4. I got mine from Jim (Downey on 'mud). I know Summit sells them as part of their non-ECM shift kits, don't know if they sell them separately.

I got my e - brake seal & speedi sleeve done. No more leaks there. Front axle drained and refilled, new wipers installed, new oem hubcaps on, & my homemade center console arm rest pad installed.

Hi, where did your console come from?

Ky hillbilly- I built it myself, 16 guage steel, weld in hinge, a drawer handle from lowes, and a pad with marine vinyl. Also powder coated pewter to match. I used the front and rear mounts of the factory console on a 16 guage plate to mount the box. Still need to get some cup holder inserts but all in all cheaper than a tuffy, as it isn't a d.d.

Good job, looks good, I'm just looking for ideals, my tub is at the painters and I'm looking forward to getting it back and putting everything back together and hopefully driving it before long.

Worked on some "small" holes in the roof. Once I opened them up, I found each had some pretty large cracks leaded to and from the holes. It appear the previous owner had hit something pretty hard on the top and cracked it. Hole and cracks re fiber glassed and ready for some finish work on another day.

Met up with some buds and hit the trails - rig performed flawlessly, which is impressive to me for a 42-year-old vehicle that's stock other than a 2" shackle lift...

It doesn't surprise me... They're far more capable in stock form than most people know.

Front rotors, calipers, pads... regreased the hubs and installed new gaskets... and flaring brake lines, lots and lots of brake lines.

Gotta be able to stop!

photo.JPG Took the 16 month old and 4 year old with momma to the garden center. Beautiful day.

(Wife forgot we weren't in the 4runner so she drove home with two hanging plants in her lap and between her feet!)

I tried to use it as the discussion for another Land cruiser......:flush:
