I've found a single edge razor blade strips stock paint extremely fast, and without marking the surface. The paint also comes off in large flakes which don't become airborne, and are easy to clean up.

Do you have any more pics?

Sure. Here you go.

Can get mor if you need

Installed the MSD controller harness and took her for a spin. Runs good but stalls when coming to a stoplight.

Got some new wheels. Have always liked the old school, but for some reason, never cared for the factory hubs. Found these wheel vintuques series 12 from summit racing $59 each primer only. Painted gloss white and will mount this week. Summit had free shipping too!!!

FINALLY replaced the parking brake last weekend with the full kit from SOR - only to find the cable was also bad. Replaced that today - now I don't have to chock the tires when it's warming up...

Are those 15" or 16". Nice score either way. What is the back space?

15 inch and fit over front and rear discs . I think 3.625" back space here they are painted.

Finally got the original 2F swapped back into my '77 40, hooked up and started. Hasn't run in 16 years!

Ha! Got me beat, I finally got mine to a machine shop after 13 years.

Got my double factory roll bar. And just seeing what y'all think of my idea. Funds are very low and I needed seat belts so I put the main hoop off my 1980 40 and I my main hoop off my 74. Had to cut the brackets off the lower supports and cut a piece of tube to 23 1/2 inch. Drilled holes and bolted it up and now paint is the next thing along with a full bikini top

Wow. I was getting ready to do the exact same thing.

Did you drill a hole completely through the cross tube?

I thought about tacking it with my MIG and then letting a more qualified welder than myself securing it.

Got my roof rack done, light bar wired, JTO rear disks brakes installed, FJ80 master cyl installed, lock right installed in the rear, and Taurus fan removed and back to a mechanical fan. I got tired of messing with the temp controllers.
Oh and I removed the 1" wheel spacers after I lost a rear tire running 75mph. (350/NV4500) It got a little western.... Retrieved the tire out of the pasture and bolted it back on and was back on the road. (Don't forget Locktite).

It's all drilled and bolted in but can easily be wielded. But I'd really like to get it powder coated one day. It's a really big plus to have the 80 factory seat belts

Lets see...over the past week...tailgate and tire carrier are lined up, working, attached and finished. That included weather stripping the tailgate and cutting gaskets, bolting it on, and making sure the latches work. All is good there. Also...driver side fender is on...along with the turn signal. Also got the driver side apron mocked up to see how it looks and lines up...looks good! Also got all the radiator and heater hoses installed and run. I got the heater blower box stripped and painted, cowl cushion stripped and painted and weather strip ideas in my head, brake lines run, 4WD switch and lines all run and installed. Also ordered all the parts to get the hood on, windshield frame installed along with the windshield and radiator. Coolerman should have my wiring to me this week...
