Well this week I fit the front drive shaft to my 47 (been without one for the entire time I've had it)
Tested it out by going straight onto the firebreak and got bogged in 2wd. Set it in 4wd low and I was out of
:D

Rear disc and super happy

Rebuilt knuckles, new frame to axle brake hoses,
completely rebuilt all 4 spring packs, moved the rear axle back 1.5", added 2.5" shackles with degree shims on the front for caster and put some new 35s on it.

Which winch are you going to run?

ElHefe, I Bought a 9000lb Warn for the front a couple years ago , Then heard great things about the HF winch. So I bought the 12000lb for the back. As you can see my biuld process is a little slow, The longer I take , the more I dream up Silly things to do to my 40.:D Also got some Synthetic Line from Southeast Overland (eventhough on the forum) He knows his stuff.

Installed Firestone air bags on the 40 it leveled it / took out the lean and raised the rear about 1.5-2". It is has not near as much lean as before around corners.

Put a CCOT car cover on it. :(

Niiice. What lift are you running?

Had mine out of the garage on Sunday so I could wash my Tacoma. Roads weren't all salty and it was dry so I took the cruiser for about a 6-7 mile drive. Forgot how smooth that balanced 2F is.

Drove it 378 miles for my business (out to a drilling rig in west Texas). Made a gas mileage record for this truck, averaging 60 mph with a (mostly) tail wind: 274.7 miles on one tank for 15.8 mpg! Not bad for the original 2F.
