Took a "family" picture today

Put the top back on the 40, removed the jump seats and cleaned it out
Replaced the winch cable on the 60, made some mods to my tuffy box and installed some new LEDs for backing up at night, also installed roof rack ammo cans
Reminded myself that selling the FJ Cruiser was a good thing, (this is my sister-in-laws Cruiser), I use to have a yellow 07 Cruiser... no mods

I have the same lineup, 'cept I still have my FJC. It's a great work truck; 130,000 miles on the clock and it still goes 80 mph all day long in A/C comfort and a decent stereo and good off-road when I get to the drilling rigs. I use my 40 for work too but most of the time the FJC is more practical for that.

Could not get my temp and oil gauges to work after I put the cluster back in, so I bought a temporary temp gauge replacement. Turns out I'm running right at 180F.

And I started DD'ing it to work now that the 4runner needs new tires.

I will admit, my FJC was stock and I was making payments, it was nothing against the truck, I just hated making payments. Although if it would have been lifted and modes, I would have never sold it.

Painted the fuel hose protector thing-a-majig
It looks black but it's more of a metallic metal color.

Wife and I pushed her onto the Patio to replace the boring table and chairs that we used to have there.

OK, actually I have no garage or carport or anything and am about to rewire all the stuff that got damaged when it caught fire a few months ago and needed shade and something other then dirt and graval to lay in. Redneck as hell but it will work until we build a shop.

New clutch master installed to
Go with my clutch slave cylinder after my clutch hydraulics bled out on the highway a few weeks ago. Drove it to a gathering of local car gurus only to lose clutch pressure again. Turns out the shop that replaced my slave mounted it upside down. Gonna flip and bleed the air properly this weekend. (probably should have caught that).

Next project - fixing my dead e brake.

Put a new driven gear in the Tcase to run the speedometer. For the first time since owning my 40, the speedo needle moves, and the odometer no longer reads 43027.3

Finished up cleaning, painting assembling all.of the component.parts for my front axle rebuild. Was looking forward to assembling the whole front end and staring on the rear. That is until I got ahead of myself and installed the inner axle seals BEFORE I used the SST to determine shim thickness. Ruined the seals pulling them out naturally. Marlin is closed on Fridays and to top that off its a 3 day weekend.

1911,
What bumper did you purchase to fit the Warn 8274 on the 40? Or is it a mod on a bumper?

Chris,

It's a Man-A-Fre 4+ bumper, made for the 8274 and strictly bolt-on/bolt-up. All the 4+ stuff is actually made by lcwizard here on mud, so you might check with him first if you want one.
