Lol... Thanks man. I'm diggin it actually. Started w metallic silver. Had problems shooting it (rookie) and I just didn't care for the color. Looks just like metal. I've been staring at metal for two years.

Rebuilt the dizzy

at 30 years old it was in a state of disrepair the advance fly weights had seized up, so disassembly, replacement of the balls clean and reshim ...surprisingly enough the vacuum advance is still in good condition..this one is adjustable ..note the knurlled knob for advance and retard fine adjustment, only thing not original is the roll pin to hold the drive gear on.

ground all the old paint and bondo off the rear and sides of the tub to inspect the body, primed, and getting ready to rattle-can paint it to last through winter. After that the hard top goes back on after some wire wheel and paint work...

oh yea, charged the battery a few times and wondered why it still wouldn't fire up...

Finished rust proofing the frame.....POR is the best stuff ever!!

Realized (too late) that I had installed the rear wheel cylinder in the front, when putting in new ones tonight. I didn't take both new cylinders out of the box before starting, and was replacing them one at a time. I thought the speed bleeder was going in pretty tight, but didn't realize what was going on until I opened up the second box, and there was a new cylinder with a new bleeder attached. About a $90 mistake, as I'll have to get a new cylinder and speed bleeder. CRAP! I'll open up all the boxes before I start next time....

Opened my oem 16" hub cap wheels- Yes! Finally after waiting for ever a set of 5 came up on auction in great condition. Still sporting the original spare.
