I got mine inspected & I installed a new stereo.

Happen to pull out an old 1978 to 1981 AM radio? I'll take it off you hands if you did. Need one in a bad way.

Started making a spare tire rack and finishing some half doors my grandfather started.

I took it in for some much needed break work. The last ride was a little hairy!

Made a jerry can holder out of an old spare tire carrier. Also keeps the dog from falling out.

Took advantage of rare sunny day and scraped some rust from underneath and slapped on some new paint

Towed it to the muffler shop for new exhaust after engine swap. Close to turning the key and firing her up.

finished painting quarters, reinstalling diamond plate, putting fender flares back on, measured for installing my new bench seat for the kid, and then quit.....it's to hot at 11 am in the garage in MS in August!!!!

Finally got my 1971 daily driver back together after changing color from freeborn red to Sherwin Williams 42095 beige.

I worked on my rear sill. A skim coat of body filler, and I think it will look just fine. More importantly, the back of the tub is stronger and has less rust.

Texas is in a pretty bad drought right now. I let a few sparks out of the garage while grinding in the 100+ heat. The neighbors moved in to their new house last weekend, and the brush fire made it over the property line before I got the hose to it. Oops!

I rebuilt my instrument panel, removed the rest of the old heater hardware, the water flow valve was solid rust and completely plugged. The firewall looks so clean now.
Also found a plethora of 79 smog parts on E-Bay, should be here Monday.
Saturday I plan on running an engine compression test.
My request for a nude hula dancer for the dash was denied :crybaby:
Oh well
Alan
