put the skinnies on & rolled it outside for some sunshine

I almost have the rolling chassis done. I just got the p-coateded wheels back and and put some Yokohama's Y742S skinnies on, I like this look.

Next I'll finish the exhaust and install the carb (when Jim @ TLC is done). Then I'll start on the paint job.

Fitted new OME anti inversion greaseable shackles, pins and all new bushings to the old girl.

The OEM shackles and pins still looked ok, but the bushings were all shagged. Will see how the OME goes, it sure looks the goods!

Damn nice job on those fenders. I just built a set myself.
It's a bit of :censor:work but well worth the effort and far, far stronger than a replacement set.
I got a lil crazy and used 316L stainless but I live in the jungle so I use SS or aluminum any time I possibly can.

Recieved and installed my "New To Me" stock '76 seats....

They are freakin awesome!!!!

Thanks shmukster!!!!

I did the same thing with the rear hoop... But mine is tight with the hardtop in the back. Also added three point belts in the the rear (with a bench).

It does Compromise the roll bar strength because there are no angled braces.

Rebuilt the rear heater

Thanks started on it Christmas break and am finally seeing progress...

I'm in Michigan and had to get the tires shipped in from CA -- the local tire guys thought I didn't know what I wanted! They took more weight then normal but it may have been my old rims?? Anyway I like the look and think the steering will be nice and easy with the skinny tiers

Fabbed a turbo mount for my stock manifold 3B. Almost finished with everything. I need to weld the oil return bung to the oil pan and have the exhaust made. The intake ducting is a but ghetto as well so I need something different. Turbo build thread coming soon.

Continued working on the custom rear fenders.

And I thought I was into some sheet metal work!! FAAAAAWWWK!
Id be slitting my wrists if I were you!

Dont get me wrong! Those look awesome, but...You know how I feel about that kind of work in general. Seeing it up close like that in the pics above makes my eye twitch.

Youre a better man than I, Michael!!!!
