Put the 40 back on insurance...

Busy weekend, got to get back to work and get some rest.

I'm in the midst of a snow storm and I am installing my propane conversion.

Also, I'm waiting on some Allied Beadlocks and some 37 inch Iroks.

Finally finished my Orion transfercase installation. This has been a long project taking about 3 months to finish because of all the " unforeseen" issues with the new case. Fabbed up a new Tranny/TC mount, bought the Advanced Adapters twin stick set up and bent /welded the sticks to fit, and modified the tranny cover for the new sticks. Thanks again to Georg at Valley Hybrids for a beautiful job on the case assembly!

Built a fuel tank to go under the tub!
Actually...that has been going on for several weeks now.

On a Roll

Today I charged my OEM a/c with R134a and it works like a champion.
It took a long time to get everything together for this and it officially ends (if there is such a thing) the restoration of my 1984 FJ40!
It's ready to ship to Canada.

Had a leak fixed in the "new" rear heater core. It looked almost mint... But had a split in one of the tubes because it had been somewhat squished (while sitting in a guys basement for the last 20 years). It has been pressure tested, installed, and it works.:D

1- Started getting the old tires of my stock rims so I can send them out for powder coating.
2- Continued cleanup of the hard top drip rail (almost ready for the rust bullet).
3- Booked some time with a local fabricator to do my roll cage at the end of May
4- Should be ordering my toybox from Marlin
5- Finaly grinding all the patch work on the driver/passenger doors
6- and last but not least, pimped my 4 1/2 year old daughters bike :grinpimp:

Installed new calipers and pads on my bj60, and adjusted the rear shoes. Installed new starter on my fj40, and got the wipers to work, now I just need to get the blower motor and dash lights to work!!! The snow is almost gone, & I wanna get my 40 out of storage!!!

Just finished putting new rear wheel cyllinders on and then had to put new brake lines on because every one of them broke. It was fun though. Tomorrow we bleed and I hope it isn't me that is bleeding.

Getting both my Cruisers wired up this week.

The truck on the left is my 78 and the truck on the right is my 73.
1) New body mounts on the 78.
2) Replacing the old heater lines with new
3) Putting body on 73 and getting that wired up and running
4) Running new rear brake lines on the rear of the 73
5) Making sure all pull knobs and switches work before I finish assembly of the 78.
6) Using my new set of JIS bolts to put both trucks back together.

Man if my cruiser looked that good it wouldn't need a snorkel.....it would never go in water deep enough to get the top of the tires wet.
