My company tee shirts and SAS7 started this whole ‘rabbit hole’ ordeal 🤣

Then, got our event T-shirts & stickers done for SAS7. Will be around 11 rigs from KC making the voyage to Ouray in August.
Might need to see how to join your group next year - and make it 12. Nobody in the Flatlanders club (Nebraska) is going.

Taking my Rig to KC this weekend so a friend can help me troubleshoot the engine/carb.

This is the first time in several years that a 30 minute job actually took 30 minutes. Changed the rear differential fluid. GL-5. Saving the front for tomorrow.

The nicer thing about this epoxy floor is cleaning up spilled oil… a rag or paper towel and you’re done

I read an article years ago called that time jeep time.. it still applies, just a different name. Now I allow double time for whatever it should be.

Floor looks great. One day I’ll have that on a shop floor.

One day I will have a shop floor! haha. at least building materials have come down sorta.

Hey guys….took me 35 years to get this garage… for decades I could drop a washer, screw or nut in my gravel driveway and NEVER see it again. Then, harbor freight came out with a cheap sweeper magnet and I found quite a few ( most very rusted) …..except for the stainless, never found those 😉

You must not be much of a mechanic. I am always losing nuts and bolts on my cement floor.

Now that I am older the the arthritis in my hands causes me to drop almost everything I touch. Takes 3 times long to do anything

I know that feeling. My ‘shop’:

Well, had a leaking radiator so took it to Red Line Land Cruisers to see if we could salvage the original. Could not, so replacing it and all the rubber and a few “while we’re in there” things…

Great guys and awesome shop. Looking forward to getting it back all buttoned up.

As I read thru the forum I see there are shops in different parts of the country that pop up regularly… does someone know of a shop in New Jersey that does good Land Cruiser stuff? 50 years ago there was VanDines 4WD in north Jersey and in Ocean County about 70 miles south. The one up north seems to be VanDines but a big retailer of snow plow equipment. the southern location appears to be gone.

I’ll do 90% of the work on my vehicles but on occasion, it would be nice to hand it off to someone with real Land Cruiser dedication

i completed a job I started a few months ago….my hubcap came in….

Agree. Just out of curiosity, what all is on the list of “ While we’re in there”?

I wanted to replace all the cooling system hoses anyways so they are all being replaced along with crank shaft seal and timing cover seal.
