Does it last for a long time? Because I was going to put it on but I'm worried something happening to it, and being impossible to take off.\

I raptor lined my floor after I painted it, I hated worrying about the paint all the time.

It has held up well past my expectaions, I have no marks on anything, even after lots of people climbing in and out. It's completley strippable, it just takes forever. I usually use a wirewheel or some rough grit wheels, and blasting can usually take the rest.

Dry ice and isopropyl alcohol takes it off like sheets of ice.

Thanks for posting a picture of the light pattern. I have some LED headlights that look very similar, however, their focus is garbage and light pattern sucks.

Once again City Racer for the win.

Years ago, we would have said that your cruiser is possessed, but now we know that there is an imbalance of humors caused by a toad or a small dwarf living in the front diff.

The previous owner installed the locking hub without the necessary 90520-31001 snap ring.

Mystery solved and fixed.

For those locking hub experts, it appears my birfields are late model 30 spline “short” vs long. The hubs measure 45 mm from base to locking dial. This allows for the use of Aisin standard size locking hubs versus the more expensive longer hubs.

The P.O. had cut up the transmission hump to bypass the vacuum shifter with a homemade handle shifter.
I had bought an unmolested transmission hump to modify for my 4-speed transmission. But I decided to try my hand at patching the old one instead for practice.
I still have a lot of work to do and I had to stop for rain but here is my first attempt to patch & weld sheet metal.

If I am successful, I will be selling this clean early transmission hump.

I see that you also have some sort of cover on the hump and under the paint as well. I assume that it is for sound dampening or a heat shield. Is it stock or did you put it on yourself?

At the right of the pic should the fuel line go through the round hole or oval?
