Nicely done..... you soldering wire into the lug?

Thanks !

No Solder , TOYOTA Crimped 40 years ago with No issues , and still does today

I Follow the Traditional Techniques and Methods when they are time proven and issue free .....

but , however i add to the recipe of success by adding a section of ANCOR marine Adhesive Lined heat shrink UV rated and Solvent Rated to form a extra layer of water proof corrosion proof protection toyota does not

my mindset is simple HUCK : Over-Engineer Toyota by at least 1 step in every way shape and form , and u you have a part that will serve the Land Cruiser well into the long term future ........ :) :wrench:

The trans hump was a little more Swiss cheese than I thought. Smothered in rust converter. Anybody have some tips on plugging the holes short of a) getting a new hump or b) welding. I’m not going for perfect here. I think @wngrog used steel epoxy?

Sweet ride - What project are you doing in the rear wheel well area?
Thanks, don’t think anyone’s ever referred to my truck as a ‘sweet ride’!
That’s the ‘takin forever fender patch’ project! 🤣
Tying to cover up the PO hack of the rear.... it had flares but I didn’t like ‘em - I cut and bent flat metal from HD
*I’ll get around to making it prettier one of these days.... maybe a pandemic exile chore!
