I’ll tell you something about alignment on a 40.

Don’t sweat it too much unless you are putting big miles on it.

My toe has been OUT for 5000 miles on Patina and it drives better on the road than any 40 I’ve ever owned.

I put a pinion seal in this am I got from @beno

When and if I go, usually to take someone so they can get a chance at one. Only restriction I put on them (besides the law) is save me a little one. I don't eat horns.

It was a wet doe so she was fair game.

Looks like I need a 45 Pickup if I want to haul a buck in a relic though

Deer like Patina though

I cut a piece of plywood out for a floor for my Con-Ferr rack and my friends ridiculed me.

The metal one I did first rattled.

Am I crazy? Seems like most Con-Ferr racks in the early days had wood floors

Of course it takes 2 minutes to install so I can just put it up there if I need it if it’s totally lame.

Now, you have a balcony, a deer stand, or a potential dance floor!!

Looks great!!

Only thing I would have done differently, is use pressure treated plywood... Lasts a lot longer in wet weather.

But, it doesn't matter, if you aren't going to leave it on there all the time.

I ran for years with a plywood floor on mine. I used a 2" hole saw and sawed holes every several inches to let the air pass through when the rack was unloaded so it would't become a wing. I had some latex exterior paint mixed up to match my truck and painted the wood.

Howzit Vossie

I was getting worried about you. Thought the Crocodile had got you in the chaos.

That cluster looks bad. I think there is a fairly decent one lying in a shed I will be digging in week after next, so if you don't come right there I may have one for you.
all good here boet.

ja, that gauge cluster is pretty wrecked. im still poking around for a second hand replacement.

thanks
