I just bought Slee's group 31 main battery tray, and I added an Interstate AGM group 31 battery. It was a bit of a challenge to lift up and over the hood front bumper and fender into the tray without bumping into or damaging anything.

Yeah I'm thinking something along those lines. I'd move my stock battery (group 24 I think) over to the passenger side, lengthen the wires over and slap that big one in there for my auxiliary. I like that Slee tray but I might experiment with modding a universal tray to fit on either side of the engine bay. Worst case I'll snag the Slee one.

But yeah, at nearly 70lbs and with my newly re-hosed lower back it'll be a fun task

Edit: Ordered this to try and make work, a $20 gamble but whatevs

I put my 31 in today, it was much easier than I thought primarily because I put it first on a Werners work platform then stood on the platform and lifted it into place. Thus only having to lift to waist high on both lifts. Putting it to perspective our Troops in the field lug similar or heavier loads in combat. Thanks troops

At long last, the rear ARB with carrier, ARB skid plates, Slee Sliders, and 34X10.50R17LT AT TAKO2

Replaced my Slee fair lead with a no-name brand roller-style (Amazon, $30.) Its hefty and seems solid. I figure they're all made at the same factory in China anyway so I elected to go with a cheap one and see how it holds up.

Replaced my broken synthetic line with 75' of orange 3/8" line.

Pretty happy with the setup now and it looks a lot cleaner.

Still have some more to do but I got the RLC bumper on. The AHC pump did pose some issues but it all worked out after some head scratching (If you're interested in the details on that just message me).

My question is where do I get the weatherstripping trim for where the bumper got trimmed?!

I have both a bulb seal style and a regular edge trim like most all other companies supply with their bumpers.How much do you need? about 5-6' I'd say

That bulb seal is what I wanted. I'd have to measure but I'd guess 6'.

Finished wiring my second battery install utilizing a CTEK 250S mounted on top of fuse box easy peasy. Thank God for hydraulic crimpers

I wired an Anderson Plug from the battery to my rear bumper. I am waiting for the 50AMP in line fuse to come. I will have a short stub with and Anderson that connects when in use to an another anderson connector in the battery tray that runs along the frame to the rear bumper

The 50 AMP Fuse will protect when in use, and I simply disconnect when not in use. The first use if for my trailer. It came with an Anderson, but I never used it. It has batteries and solar power. One day I will be camping and the batteries in my trailer will start to go out at night (no Solar), I can then connect it to the truck to keep the fridge and lights going. I likely will connect it when towing . . . . . Just because.

You guys can sleep in your trucks. I will be sleeping in this (Kimberley Karavan)

and it compacts down to the size of my cruiser

I'll be in the back row of slickrock campground next to Cdan in his Kimberley Kamper

Just curious, is this your first set?

My fronts were metal to metal at 40K miles, the back still had 3/4's so I left the pads and just changed the rotors to slotted DBAs
