Took care of those old cloudy fog lights with a 3M product for $13 and put in some yellow bulbs for the epic fog around here. Also put in a K&N drop in.

Changed the rear diff oil and greased up the driveline. Highly recommend doing the greasing yourself. Its really easy, cheap and satisfying to get rid of the clunk. FWIW it took a few rounds with the grease gun to get it fully addressed. Did a drain and fill on the trans fluid too.

Next up over the holiday I'm gonna hit the TC and front diff, change the T's, take care of the APPS dealio and clean the MAF and TB.

Then its  time!

^ how do you think the yellow bulbs are working?

I've been close to pulling the trigger on that one for a while.

Replaced Tee's....2006 with 140k. The hot side cracked on me, which caused all fluid to be lost from radiator. Had to park till parts came in. Pic is new vs. old.View attachment 1128342
That sucks!!! Mine is also a 06 with 142k ! I need to get this done pronto! I have the Ts in my spare box, just have not taken the time to do it!

Pretty nice. Major improvement over the ones that were in there. I like that its clear during the day and yellow when they are on vs that cheap film stuff.

This is what broke and cause the PO of my new to me 2000 to overheat. New HG and some other parts and she should be up and going, but the one that was left crumbled in my hands as I removed at disassembly. Weak point x 10!

Put a winch behind the factory front bumper.
Now come on... you know you can't post a pic like that and leave us hanging. Well, unless that hornet was still alive... I mean, that'd explain the blurry pic, the lack of more pics... I'd have run too. ;)

Pop the hood and take a look at the driver side Tee. That'll give you a good idea of how long you have. Once it starts seeping, you won't have long at all before it totally fails.

Also, I drive a 2k mile trip a few times a year...so I'm thinking that longer trips may make the hot side fail quicker than a cruiser that just drives around town (short trips). Make sense?

I'm still working out how I'm going to make the hole (I love this truck so it needs to be nice) for the hawse in the front bumper, as soon as that's done I'll get some more pics up.

Had a reg maintenance service done yesterday. Service Rep recommended some "repairs". Check out the price on the Sway Bar repair!! They are trying to verify if it was a mistake...it better be, or the sway bar end links better be gold plated!!

Now that they know you are aware of the "mistake" it will obviously be one.

The estimate didnt say, but maybe it includes replacing the sway bar itself? Not sure why they would need to do that though unless it is all rusted out.

Wow I guess I should be doing this soon. 04 with 145k. Did it crack while running or just during the process of removing it?

You guys are freaking me out. Ordered a set of T's plus a spare for my '05 w/ 170k miles.

Sway bars are cheap, as are all the components that go along with them: STABILIZER BAR for 2003 Toyota Land Cruiser|48805-60060

I think I remember replacing all the rubber and links for around $100 in parts, a Sat afternoon and a six pack.

Don't forget to order a few extra bolts. That one under the condensate drain gets really rusty.

Easy to do and doesn't require jacking or removing wheels. Just removing the plastic splash guard. Grease up the prop shafts while you're under there.
