I like the look of the Tundra steelies, too. Had them on my truck for about 2 weeks but I switched back to the alloys last week. I am sure it's a personal thing, but I could feel the extra weight in the wheels (felt like oem shocks were struggling to control movement) and I am much happier at highway speeds with the alloys (12lbs lighter per corner, I believe). Either way you'll get used to it.

Brought it home, added wheels/tires, bumper, and gave it a good bath, both INSIDE and out.

Then my boys and I took it for a spin and got it dirty :) :flipoff2:

You did a masterful job cleaning it up. Amazing how some people treat their cars.

Wow! That before and after is astonishing!

I did - went through quite a few blue nitrile gloves!

Theres a running total in the build thread just crossed the $6k mark.

Care to share cleaning supplies bamachem?

Wow, those before and after pictures are amazing. Besides a lot of elbow grease, what other cleaning supplies and leather conditioner did you use?

Is that the original carpet or did you install new carpet? How in the world did you get it clean?

Can one use it right over the existing rust? Do I need to undercoat it with rubber later also after the fluid film?

Yes, you can go over existing rust. It will inhibit the rust from getting worse. You'd want to clean/degrease the surface in the Spring if you wish to apply any top coat/paint.

Just used what's listed in the build thread - click the link in my sig.

Woolite, Arm & Hammer Laundry Booster, Pinesol, and HOT water. Used a Bissel carpet cleaner. All parts are original with zero replaced!

100 Series Third Row Seats

A little old, but actually used the third row seats for the first time since forever . . . or since we purchased it!

Is that new leather or just covers?? Cause those look pretty great.

They are Iggee seat covers. They feel super heavy duty. I love them so far. They have 1" padding on the underside, so the seat is very plush now. They aren't hot either, which is surprising for a synthetic leather.

Seat covers, turned out great!

Any Chance we can get some more detailed photos of those covers? My new 100 has a pretty big tear in the driver side seat. Would love to redo the leather of both front seats but that is a little spendy. Trying to decide between the Wet Okele covers or possibly these.

Thx!

This is where I found them. He posted some good pictures, let me know if you need anything more detailed.

So with that padding I'm guessing you won't be able to feel your bun warmers? Or do you think the heat would still permeate through? I'd love some fresh seats up front and some more cushion, but I'm all about the bun warmers in winter. They look REALLY tight though, like they're not even there!
