Waiting to plasti-dip my wheels when the weather gets a little better (and I find time when I'm not traveling for work!). Post some pics!
Installed these 6" KC lights that came from my Warn Transfrmer Brush Guard and are still working since 1995. Wish I could afford new but glad these work.
Here is my truck when I got it a few months ago, and now. I've only done tires, OME w Slee diff drop, and the rack is from my STi that got totaled. Next up are the WKOR sliders sitting in the garage. Glad I didn't wreck that little tow-light dongle. I didn't notice it until I got home. Also maybe I could use some license plate frames.
I received a few more things in the mail today. Lucky. Still haven't seen my dorkel come in yet, apparently some time this week. Last night i drained and refilled my rear and front diff, engine oil and filter. All looked good; diff fluid in the rear looked pretty clean - no milky residue from water. the front had a slight milky bit when i first cracked the bolt. I had a rear diff breather extension but just added the front and transfer case/tranny one mid season last year. I'll have to do my transfer case in the next week.
for today's small shipment, i received 80 series extended sway bar links; i think i can get my sway bar closer to stock since i've got a bit of a lift (2.5 inch). Also ordered some longer travel rear shocks that are meant for the 80 series. the hardware from my current rear shocks should swap over to the new ones and allow me to retro fit. I've been preparing for it this winter by extending my brake lines in the rear, welding a retaining clip to the rear springs (so no springs pop out if under full flex - this hasn't been documented before but better safe than sorry). It should prove to add a bit more flex and allow me to keep the rear axle better planted and reduce front wheel lifting. I haven't had a need for it yet but i'm curious to see how/if it changes the behavior and allows more track to stay on the ground.
Also picked up a trasharoo - i think these are cool for camping to keep your garbage out of the truck and away from hungry dogs. The cruiser picture is before i have put on the longer travel rear suspension - i don't think the stance/height will be any different, but i'll post photos after as well.

That's pretty standard for using the N74L shocks. Lots of info on here.
okay, skill testing question. the n74 L shocks that are designed for the 80 series are known to fit the 100 series.. the only changes are swapping some bushings and hardware.. great. called up slee, ordered n74l shocks for the back.. problem - they dont' make them anymore and they are replaced with the 60071L shocks (all OME).. so what the hell, can't be that much different.. there is a bit of a shorter threaded top end to the shock on both the n74l and the new one i received.. i figured they would be the same.. so i went to work tonight on switching them out.. i recall doing the ome switch out last year and the rear was a major PITA.. no room for anything on the ps side.. anyways, long story short, i had to make some compromises to make it all work and i need your expert opinions to whether i'm making a major screw up.. the hardware stacked too high to allow for the nut to go on the top of the shock, so i ditched one of the washer plates that sits on top of the frame rail, underneath the top bushing on each side.. i figure the frame would act exactly like the washer and i have the rest of the washers in place everywhere else with thread going right through the top of the nut.. so its on there good..
is ditching the one washer (out of four) going to have ill effects?

Installed 1/4in front wheel spacers.
Installed the dual battery system from my old 100. Added lots of nice loom to protect the cables this time.
Started rewiring my cargo area fusebox and awning light strip.
Made a pressurized scepter MWC shower. Works great. I got over 2 mins of water by pumping it to 20psi.
Reinstalled 5 cross bars on my LabRak.
Moved the Yakima fairing to the frist cross bar to make room up front for a new accessory.
Installed my second LabRak Antenna Bracket and started wiring up my 2M HAM.
Raised the spare another inch thanks to some chrome homedepot spacers. Don't worry the shackles aren't on anymore.
I added this 40", 24 x 10w CREE LED single row vision X style LED lightbar.
Installed the dual battery system from my old 100. Added lots of nice loom to protect the cables this time.
Started rewiring my cargo area fusebox and awning light strip.
Made a pressurized scepter MWC shower. Works great. I got over 2 mins of water by pumping it to 20psi.
Reinstalled 5 cross bars on my LabRak.
Moved the Yakima fairing to the frist cross bar to make room up front for a new accessory.

Made some front recovery brackets out of 1/2" steel angle. I picked up 4 pcs. already cut to length for $9.00 at my local Alro supplier.

Last few weeks...fitted LeGrande Alloy Roobar, Water Heat exchanger on firewall behind the engine (note: long bolts will rub on wiper cranks!), light under hood for shower operation and night time breakdowns, also Blinged the engine bay with some checkerplate over radiator and above front grill to make engine bay work easier- somewhere to rest tools etc.
This week installing DVD headrests for the kids before the next big trip, fog lights from ebay in LC roobar, and tyre compressor in engine bay.

Serviced the TC, front and rear diff. The TC fluid looked pretty bad but the diffs looked just like the one I put in, new. I had to replaced the filler plug on the rear diff caused it was stripped....and also did the 7 pin mod.
First post in here... Today did 115K service and removed the running boards. Previous tasks were window tint, basket, etc.

With the higher lift springs I found those airbags do not seat on both ends. I figured out the difference and cut some off the top bump stops instead of removing them like you would for stock springs.
