Coax cable about 3/16" or 1/4' for 2 meter radio and another coax for GMRS radio. I have the commercial cable lubricant I use for aircraft wiring. Thanks for your reply
Yeah coax is what I ran out behind the glove box and it was easy through an existing location. I just made a small nick in the existing rubber large enough to fish through then RTV’d it.

Was a great route for me from the center console to the front of the truck since it allowed me to run my wire under the console trim without having to take anything out.

@Helipilot updated to include photos. The grey wire is the one routed from inside to the front bumper for CB.

^ Exactly how I passed wiring through the firewall as well

"it isn't even a contest off road" ..................but I've seen a few do more than what I thought they were capable of doing so probably better than most IFS suvs out
Hey watch it!! ;)

What do people do in the 100 world (I've been living in the 80 universe) for the later model stereo upgrades? Is there anything available?

I know a fair few of us have installed a T'Eyes unit. Mileage may vary though, works in some but not others. For an '03 LX, it was 100% plug and play.

Replaced the rear differential fluid today.

Looked like it had been a minute since last done… this has me worried.

… obviously

Need to let my wife know because of all the metal I found on the drain plug it’s time for a rebuild on the diffs, and re-gear to accommodate some new larger 35” tires.

…obviously

New to the forum and LC’s overall. This week I did front and rear rotors and pads. In the process found mangled threads in 2 of the rotor to hub holes so got those Helicioled. Buttoned everything up today and started to flush the disgusting brake fluid. That was a pain and I still can’t get fluid to come out of the rear driver side other than the initial 1/4 cup. I’ve learned that LC’s are not like most vehicles and not to think thoughts like “brakes are easy or I know how to bleed brakes, I don’t need to research that”🤣.

Just got the Drone mobile installed. I think I’m really gonna like this.
Guessing you don't use the remote start feature? Otherwise looks pretty cool.

Wait until you start trying to do anything with the electrical system! Toyota didn't think switching the positive was a good idea (unlike just about EVERY other manufacturer!), so most devices are 'hot' powered, and switch ground. Makes adding (or even just diagnosing) a fun exercise.

Chris......

I just got the Yukon 4:88 and 35” tires. Gears made fun to drive again. I also did rear lockers while they were in there

I use the remote start on my phone app every time I drive it. It came with a key fob also but don’t use it

Admittedly my only reason for the 35’s are to raise the truck up a bit for aesthetics. The AT falken wildpeak 33’s have been great. Any regrets on the 35’s?

I’ll turn a wrench all day but electrical work drives me nuts as it is. Thanks for the heads up. I will certainly consult the professionals when it comes to that.
