Have been chasing a P0115 code for a couple weeks now. Did a coolant flush and replaced heater Ts while I was in there. One completely snapped with minimal force moving the hoses around. Definitely +1 for do your Ts sooner than later

There was a mud member that found a GM part that is identical for much less. I believe it was @RhetoricGenuine OEM part. $115 .Bought during the Toyota 25% off sale.
Truck looks good!New Falken Wildpeak AT4s with matte black Toyota LC 16" wheels.
And removed the front hitch. Required an actual torque wrench to remove one of the bolts.
Next up is to remove the running boards and start on the Coastal rear DIY bumper! That should start Friday & Saturday.
Need to adjust to torsion bars to get it closer to level. Significant height difference unloaded. The bumper parts, front hitch and my tool bag are currently in the rear, so there's even more height difference with no weight in it.

It looks like he's maybe no longer a member, but a Google search turned this up:There was a mud member that found a GM part that is identical for much less. I believe it was @Rhetoric
Was gonna say; I definitely cringed when I read this especially thinking of an expensive MacTools or snap on torque wrench.Truck looks good!
Please don't use a torque wrench to remove stuck bolts - that messes up their caliberation. A large cheater bar is cheap and more effective in pursuading stubborn bolts.
Thanks.Truck looks good!

Lemme know how the rear bumper build goes! I'm definitely interested in a Coastal at some point.New Falken Wildpeak AT4s with matte black Toyota LC 16" wheels.

ETA not sure why @Rhetoric wasn't pulling up in the search, but he's still here. Here's a link to his original post.

I swapped out my fuel sending float in the tank and now if I see that light, I have 200’ to find a gas station lol. Don’t know what happened but my miles to empty are actually miles to dead empty. In typical 100 fashion meaning "needs gas"?![]()
Though the 100 has a semi floating rear axle, it might be stronger than the full floating 80.not unless they’re pinning it to the floor…i know some guys who run 2WD on trails and imho that’s the dumbest idea i’ve ever heard. it’s 4WD so use it. if you’re worried about the front diff breaking either buy an 80 or run easier trails
but yeah a semi float rear is weak by definition
The way I wheel, i’m going to break whatever’s underneath the truck but a FF would be easier to ride off the trail.Though the 100 has a semi floating rear axle, it might be stronger than the full floating 80.
