The roof of mine has blotchy clear. I want to reclear it. What’s your recommendation in terms of sandpaper grit to use to have it prepped for a respray of clearReplaced dirty power steering reservoir.
Did some sanding on the hood and roof after letting clear cure for about a week. More orange peel that I wanted but not too bad for garage rattle can color and 2k clear. Shop wanted $2700. I could not justify it at this time. Before pictures included.

I’m not an expert but I think you will need 400-600 to make the existing clear rough enough to accept the new clear. If you go any lower you may get into the color coat. The roof of mine has blotchy clear. I want to reclear it. Thanks that makes senseI’m not an expert but I think you will need 400-600 to make the existing clear rough enough to accept the new clear. If you go any lower you may get into the color coat.

Is the replacement PS fluid reservoir an OE part or aftermarket? Cost roughly? Thanks!
Ok, finally had the chance to take care. Bought a new winch at HF, took the electronics off and tested. All good.Man… put it all in, winch generally works, but only spooling out, not in. Cables are in the right place, tightened up. Based on the manual it’s either the control box or the remote that needs to be replaced… stopping by at HF today and see if they have one available I can test.
Great solutionOk, finally had the chance to take care. Bought a new winch at HF, took the electronics off and tested. All good.
Now swapped the working one in my relocation box and the non working one back into the new winch. Winch works now and the new one from this morning is back at HF
Finally!
So test the winch before you install it and hide it in your bumper![]()

Does that mean that part time 4wd converted rigs should worry about breaking rear axles?Well I guess these pigs really don’t like full throttle in rear wheel drive
Broke the passenger side rear axle shaft. The OEM rear locker got me off the trail at least…
4.30 stock gears in the rear

not unless they’re pinning it to the floor…i know some guys who run 2WD on trails and imho that’s the dumbest idea i’ve ever heard. it’s 4WD so use it. if you’re worried about the front diff breaking either buy an 80 or run easier trailsDoes that mean that part time 4wd converted rigs should worry about breaking rear axles?
I picked up my 100 Series from my buddy Ryan @ Midwest Auto Shield after he did a paint correction and ceramic coating. He spent a lot of time dialing in the oxidized single stage paint. The result of his hard work is an incredible transformation and the paint now has a ton of gloss and depth. See the video for before and after. I also had them ceramic coat my new Hyper Silver 100 wheels that will be going on the truck soon.
