Yea I’be been teetering on GROM, also I saw somewhere on a thread or maybe online (a while back) that there is an upgraded/updated LCD touch screen that you can buy to swap out original…

Look for the threads on T'eyes. IDK year/make on yours...they work for some of us, but not others. Definitely worth reading through those large threads before buying.

Finally started on wiring, got the winch power switch bracket from @suprarx7nut mounted in without issue on my '04. Still need to decide on a winch and purchase one, but one step at a time.

Added an accessory tray from @Ramathorn15 that I've had for a few years with a 6-circuit fuse box and 100A breaker. Just running the headlights (HID retrofits) so far, I'll add in aux lighting etc. as time/budget/weather allows.

Added “see thru” breather extensions.

What's the best approach to getting all of the AHC fluid out of residual lines? I constantly have trace amounts of fluid even though I pulled the AHC fuses so no pumps are running.

Tank under the hood is now gone and 1 of the globe units is now gone. 3 more to go.

So I totally blew out a Nexen road tire and I was gifted a wonderful solution vs buying a new tire.

I think this was a once in a decade opportunity to get brand new BFGoodrich takeoffs on 18 inch wheels, which appeared to have zero corrosion, probably off of a vehicle that was Garage kept its whole life; 275/70R18. I got them from a reputable Land Cruiser shop. There I saw some of the most beautiful rigs I’ve ever seen in the parking lot boy!
Not gonna brag about the price, but I all but stole them😄
I donated the other three good Nexens to a hard-working tire shop in exchange for their work to take them off my 16’ rims.
I notice these are 10 ply E rated BFGoodrich as well. I’m running them with 36 psi in the front and 40 in the rears.
Keeping my 16s, but I got to tell you I’m really loving the look at these 18s. I can’t see taking them off anytime soon.

Soaked driver’s side belt in Krud kutter and upholstery cleaner overnight and pressure washed it. Let it dry in truck overnight (unwound) with a dehumidifier running. Night and day difference! New seat belt stopper button on order.

Looking good. Can you share the part number for the seat belt stopper button?

Got my Ironman Lift Kit installed finally. Now just fine tuning it a bit and deciding on what size KO2’s to add to the 18” stock wheels. Also replaced front differential bushings, front and rear sway bar bushings and added Trail Tailor sway bar end links. Next up, Dobinson UCA’s and CV axles…. I could not have done this without all of the knowledge in this forum as well as the good videos that are out there.

Here is what I have on order.

I should have it by early next week and I will see it the dimensions match up to the original. I’m only hoping it is close enough. For $1.50 I will give it a try.

I just replaced one of these on Aaron. I don't know if you have installed them before but they have to be melted in place. What I found works really well is a small finishing nail. Clamp the nail in a pair of vice grips with the head sticking out the end about a 1/2". Light a candle or fire up your butane torch and heat the nail head for about 15 to 20 sec. Then while applying squeezing pressure on your button, just lightly press the heated tip of the finishing nail on the sharp cone and it will mushroom out. Keep squeezing pressure for about 10 sec after you melt it and you are done!

Nice to meet you guys! Your boys were a hoot and did a great job for their first camp trip!
-Kyle (two tents to the right)
It was nice to meet you all as well. It was refreshing to see how inviting and nice most everyone was. I hope to bring the whole family to the Tennessee event next year. Hope to see you there!

First camping trip back in a 100. Went to Florissant, CO, to see the fossilized redwood forest. Pretty incredible to see these fossilized stumps of trees that would have dwarfed the tallest trees in the area today.

Should also be our last camping trip in the Morris Mule trailer as we're moving to a square drop for next season. If anyone is looking for a killer utility trailer that has taken us on countless camping adventures, shoot me a message. I purchased it from a fellow mud member 5 years ago and it's time to move it along.

Did some family camping at Cherry Springs State Park in PA. It is a Dark Skies park, so the stargazing is amazing. I could not find any 4x4 trails close by—just ATV trails.

I recharged the AC. Unfortunately, I did that after a warm ride to and from Cherry Springs.

I borrowed a friend’s rooftop cargo carrier, ann old Sears X Cargo 20, and it was very compatible with the factory LX roof rack and did not interfere with the hatch. They often pop up on FB Marketplace for cheap, I’ve noticed.
