Curious abt how are you planning to keep the power station charged? Solar?
That was the initial plan until I installed it. I am seeing very little draw. It is being charged at over 100 watts by the 12v outlet in back when driving. I drive my rig everyday so it is being topped off. The power station is rated for 1050wh and my fridge in eco mode runs about 40w. I have not seen the generator go under 70% charge with just the fridge running. It has a fast charge feauture of 1000w plugged into an Ac outlet. If it gets really low I can charge to 100% in just 90min.

Last weekend my custom receiver project finally came to fruition. Tucked the bike rack in about 4”, it’s bolted to both sides of the crossmember and rigid AF. Just needs powdercoat and I can finally scratch this off the list.
Before, with the chinsy Amazon unit:

Jumpered the Accessory relay to have the 3 outlets hot with key off. Followed this handy guide.

Had the famous “door carnage” problem when I bought my LX so I came up with a preventative solution and a repair for after it really breaks.

Installed seat heater switch guards from @cruiserpatch, coated the underside in fluid film, and put the dissent skids back on. New 285/75r16 KO2's on the gunmetal SCS F5's I've been sitting on for over a year, love the look and color contrast. Feels a bit peppier losing 7 lbs a corner and more stable with the wider stance, just barely rubbing at full lock with the owl expedition mud flaps installed but nothing folding the pinch weld won't fix.

How does it drive? Gotta roll like a brand new rig!

It feels stable and smooth over bumps. Only 1k highway miles so far no trails yet. I replaced the AHC globes last year as well.
I need to change out shock bushings they look like crispy, cracked pancakes.

Had a local 4WD Toyota mechanic do the front axles and bearings for me due to time constraints. Steering rack and TB/WP are next on the list. I also recently had to swap out the DS wheel speed sensor. That was fun!

S’up everyone. This past holiday week I spent the week sick and working on my rig. Here is a list of what I actually got done. I would like to say that this forum is amazing and was able to answer almost every question that came up. So Thanks to all that contributed over time. Also the videos from OTRAMM, ChowCares and a few others on YouTube provided some alternative methods and information to make the process easier. I would encourage anyone wanting to under take any of this, to take a look there before picking up a tool.

1 - Replaced CV Half Shafts - The front right shaft boot split and spun all the grease out and I fried the joint. When it started clicking, it was time. Like Lay’s potato chips can’t just do just one, so replaced both. Got them from Carparts.com

2 - Replaced the front wheel bearings, inside & outside, the hub nuts and retainers. BTW - I’m sure that all of you know this, but in case you’re new to the LC100 world, the 05 LC100 has a 54mm hub nut. Found a nice hub nut socket on Amazon for about $12 bucks.

3 - New Brakes, Rotors, pads and brake hardware - I figured that I went this far I might as well go further. I can definitely tell the difference in it’s stopping power. I got a 4 wheel kit from Carparts.com with upgraded pads.

I took a few pics, but they’ll have to wait until the next update.

Next upgrades are purchased, but I ran out of time. Here is what’s next:
1 - Steering Rack
2 - Tie rod ends
3 - Ball joints
4 - Sway bar bushings
5 - FOX shocks for all 4 corners

Nice work! Steering rack is not as bad as it may seem. Definitely make sure to raise the engine on the drivers side as seen in the write up. Also when you do that loosen the fan bracket bc it will push into it once you lift the engine slightly.

I know its not the right section but everyone checks this section out. I need to find a Night vision dash cover mines is all broken into pieces. PLEASE HELP FIND THIS PART. I found one here a while back bought it seller shipped it. Came in broken due to packaging. Seller was nice to return money. Its why I love these forums. I don't ever use it but it looks ugly broken lol I don't care what color it is. I've searched and replacing the dash is too expensive.

It seems that over the past few years, several mud members have been looking for the same part. Discontinued by Mr T…
