Cold spell of weather down here in NZ so nice to spend it in the shop!! Finally got around to getting the switches wired up in the panel Ben 3D printed for me, the panel itself has been in place but I never got around to running the wires etc. Also cut some holes and flush mounted some day time runners in the bullbar.

Who is Ben and what do I need to do to get one of these bad boys?

The 1999 100 Series is the only USDM 100 Series that calls for Premium Fuel.

This thread should let you know all you need to 👌🏻

Ordered dobinsons long travel shocks for the front and replaced the cargo hatch shocks.

Prinsu rack added yesterday and went out to play today.

Receiver arrived. Bolt pattern is correct.

At first glance it looks like a really nice cast unit, closer examination shows the casting is not of the highest quality. Not sure I trust it entirely. That’s ok though, I’m going to use it as a test piece to build one that will put my bike rack precisely where I want it to be. I like the simplicity of this piece and the weight savings over the weight distribution hitch is enormous. I also put a dab of super glue on the cracked trim ring, looks perfect to all the ants I’m passing over.

Gotta order the new swing out from 1Up but I’m just not in the mood to drop $509 right now.

I was a little nervous looking at that hitch in the Amazon listing. The fact that it didn't specify a weight rating seemed suspicious, and the extra bolt looked odd. I'm curious about doing this same thing on my rig though, but I'm not sure what downfalls there might be. Any idea what the pintle load rating was from Toyota/Lexus when mounted there?

The extra bolt is to reduce/eliminate unwanted movement, a great idea IMO. I’m not sure what the rating was but I’m certain that it will be enough to handle my bike rack. If I’ve got something big to tow, well, that’s why I recently picked up a Tundra.

Now fill the holes in the pillar with small cabin lights!

looks dope but I don't trust myself to do anything electrical, so I'm looking for some shorter bolts to fill the holes... speaking of, does anyone know what bolt size I should look for?

I took the original (longer) bolts to several hardware stores and none of them had anything that would fit

Seatbelts are an oddball size - 7/16 UNF. I think it's so people don't use a low grade bolt. I can't remember if there's enough thread on them to cut them short enough.

I've been wanting to do this! Would be really cool if they could be illuminated with the dome light or independently. Happen to have a link where you found them?
They are just 3/4" LED trailer clearance lights, but this is what I bought in 2019:
Amazon product ASIN B07DJ58NQFNote, the 3/4" grommet with the lights is a bit small to snap into the seatbelt hole, but dang close. I put a few wraps of 3M electrical tape around the grommet so they would fit snugly into the seatbelt hole. They are going on 5 years installed! I operate these with a simple rocker switch, powered by my auxiliary battery. You could easily use a double pole switch to allow them to operate them with the dome light or by themselves.
