Where are you putting your redarc and lifepo4? Im waiting on my cables and pdc but I really liked J1000 write up on his install. I went with Renogy Dcc50s and a 138ah battery. I wanted to dial in the ahc before tackling the house battery. Got my king springs, arms and bushes installed in the rear this past weekend.

Masked my foglights with Kapton polyimide tape. Now I have amber foglights haha!

It's little things in life that sometimes improve the quality of whole experience!

Thank you that is very helpful!
My new (to me) LX470 came with 35" Ridge Grapplers which are supposed to be a hybrid MT + AT tire. I am intrigued by the siping idea and would have to check if the local DT can do that.

Is it just me or does the roofrack look upside down?

So I think im going to use the slee mount in the back of the truck and just move on from the front as neither the bcdc or li batt will be too happy. My old tacoma I made a pane land ran renogy stuff. Im just trying to figure the best route still as the back of my truck is crowded (drawrers

Im thinking - mount the battery and the RedArc on the left side behind the sub. in some kinda bracket / mount. Fridge is on the first left side (slide) right side is open

Hoping for the best with a Denso re-man from Napa (right). Lx’s mileage is now at the quarter of a million mark, I didn’t see any maintenance record saying alternator was replaced so I’m assuming this was still the factory component since 2006 (left). But what puzzles me is that the old alternator says “remanufactured in the USA” -possible it got replaced but no records? Could be.
Old part number: 210-0607
New part number: 210-1099

Just a preventative maintenance, in time for 500 mile round trip vacation to SD. Symptom is fuel gauge indicator fluctuates, sometimes it’s all the way down below empty, sometimes it’s accurate where it should be. I wire-brushed, made sure it’s clean and applied die electric grease on the 10mm nut when I fastened the (+) terminal back to the new alternator.

Paired it with a new 27F battery too.

Not original factory alternator - it was replaced before you took ownership.

0607 was discontinued years ago and superseded by 1099.

Interesting, that makes sense and thanks for the info. Napa website says 0607 is their available part but nothing about the 1099. The only time I got that info was when I came by their store to pick it up and pay, or maybe I didn’t read the whole description lol. Hopes are high in this reman but expecting for the worse, did gave up the old one (core) though.
