Damplifier Pro by SecondSkin is who makes the pads. By themselves it’s a drastic improvement. I’d do the bottom and all doors and panels. The 3 step process would add some weight. for an 09 200 series it added approximately 115 pounds total spread over the vehicle. Not noticeable as far as weight. The sound difference is amazing.
Thanks will check them out.

Got the wiring harness for the locker Friday afternoon. Wired everything up and got it working this morning while waiting on the ol lady to get ready to go grocery shopping.

Led a 10 Toyota "Covid-19 Escape" gravel run on Saturday. Had a blast with 9 fellow Toyota enthusiasts. We got to get in 145 miles of gravel, several water splashes and a crossing of the James River and got to eat some good Central Texas BBQ picnic style on the shores of the Llano River.

Got to use my IndeFlate for the first time this trip. I thought is was a gimmick before. But, after using it, I've seen the light. SOOOOO much easier than using my ARB deflator and doesn't require removing and reinstalling the valve cores on each tire. Cross-regulates the pressures too both deflating and inflating so they are equalized. Probably could have made one myself a little cheaper. But, I'm a convenience enthusiast and will pay the price if it saves me time.

Got some TRD BBS Pro wheels today. Trying to decide if I like them or still want Rock Warriors. Posing for pictures before I put them on. Thoughts?

I’m contemplating doing a “Heritage 100 Series” build and doing some Brass Monkey plasti dip if I do keep them.

Finally tackled the drivers side valve cover gasket, spark plugs, and spark plug tube seals. Easy enough job. Lost one of the valve over bolts though. Searched for a good 45 mins before giving up and just picking through my spare parts bin to find another. All in took 2hrs. Just goint to wait to tomorrow to start it up and check for leaks since the silicone needs to set anyways. 😀

Thanks for sharing. I have been researching sound deadening options too.
Just curious why no love for the bulkhead/firewall?

Completed part 2 of sound deadening for a customers 100 series. 1st layer was damplifier pro by SecondSkin, 2nd part is Second Skin Spectrum. 3rd part goes in this coming week. It’s a time consuming process and a labor of love. The results are absolutely incredible. It’s like driving in a casket while the tornado sling aluminum cans at the cruiser. You hear nothing. Sorry, best analogy I’ve got.

I made a bone-headed mistake!

Safety Tip - When cutting the the tailgate for a storage lid, don't double check that all of the cables are out of the way...TRIPLE CHECK! I cut right through the tailgate latch cable on the passenger side when it was tucked under the sheet metal. That slowed down my Huracan lid install.

I am attempting to quickly source a replacement locally... don't really want to spend $100 on a 24" cable from Mr. T.
Get bicycle brake cable... I've used it on my old trucks for the hood release. So far so good.

I did the outer firewall on my cruiser, a noticeable difference. To do it right I would remove the dash entirely. But that's more hours than some customers care to pay.

Long time lurker first-time poster. I took a trip down to the freight terminal in SOCAL to pick up a load. Ironman Foam Cell Pros all the way around, coil springs, torsion bars, and a nice cowcatcher for the heck of it. Trail Tailor diff drop is OTW. Good deal overall with the current sale going on. I was hesitant with the bumper purchase at first as I have always planned on going with the ARB, however, it seems like a quality piece and comes wired with lights.

I went with the 2.5" lift / constant load option as I will be adding runners, rear bumper and roof rack in the near future.

Cali truck. Second owner 99' 100 Series w/ 147XXX on the clock.

It should be a fun weekend. Any tips for the install would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for everything ya'll do here on MUD.
