I put a new thermostat in and the temps dropped to around 195. Pretty sure the thermostat was not opening all the way. You're doing what I would do first (assuming your radiator is clean). -

Today I did the upper control arms on the front, and the front shocks. Per usual drivers side took 2 hrs, passenger took 1 hr. Now she only rattles on the back half!
