Freshened up the grill today. The silvery bits were getting faded and tarnished. I wanted a cleaner and more subtle look so I went with the original chrome around the perimeter, chrome L logo, and black for the entire interior. The bull bar blocks most of it...

Up next are the headlight trim rings that are broken/missing from my truck. I've got a set on order and I'll pick up an aerosol can of body matching paint to spray them. I think they're a small enough part that rattle canning will have good results.

Did you look inside the box?

Yeah , bunch of junk back there, not tools or auto parts stuff. Owner is actually a customer of ours, we had told him to move the truck and he kept saying i will i will, we finally got fed up and towed it to a shopping center parking. As of today, the truck is still at the same spot we dropped it off, lol i dont know if they have any tow truck for this. Truck wouldn't start, so towing it with the LX was the only option.

I thought maybe it was full of surprises

Had to make a hard decision and let my FJ62 go.

Added OEM wind-deflector and my windshield noise/whistle is gone. Part # PT42760040 purchased from local dealer. $102 out the door. Fits my ‘01 beautifully and comes with screws needed to attach simultaneously with existing hood gasket.

Went out wheeling with a local group. Ended up sliding backwards in to a bunch of trees and badly denting and scratching the passenger side

Later in the afternoon, while trying to go across a muddy slope; slid side ways into a barbed wire fence. Casualties included left corner scratches and the lower cladding trim got boogered and eventually fell off
