Just turned 190k, and still rock solid!

- Oil Change (7.2Q 0w-40) with M209 Oil filter
- Greased driveshaft
- Rotated tires
- Cleaned underside
- Removed Spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers. Going to try out 305/65/r18 KO2's soon, and didn't want the wheel protruding that far out
- Gave the doggo some milk bones for keeping me company

Lastly, installed Slee's Jerry Can holder. Holds (3) 5 Gallon NATO cans; helps with the constant looking at the fuel gauge on longer adventures ;)

That LX looks sooooo good! The red stripe is perfect, and with the tundra wheels, very nice.

Installed 9" led spot lights in the empty space around the license plate.

It required drilling holes in to the bumper support bar. They look really weird the way they don't follow the curve of the bumper at all. Also, there is still some interference with the bumper.

I might have to cut off a bit more of the cover and then get some steal or something cover up the hole to make it look finished.

Replaced tie rod ends with new OEM units. The local Toyota dealership matched the best price I could get from another dealer. I also got a kit of CV boot clips from @pfran42 but since my boots aren't leaking at all, I decided to save that for another day. Finally, also replaced the spark plugs with new OEM ones. Cleaned the throttle body and ordered a new air filter from Amazon.

4 of the 8 spark plugs were loose (only finger tight) o_O

! I'm super pumped with the layout @young deigned and the quality of the Owl Mount. You best believe I installed the Owl sticker on the dash for everyone to see! If you haven't done this accessory you are missing out. Get yourself the Owl Mount now! Fyi... all OEM buttons and dials are accessible with this set up! Fyi... just a happy customer, no affiliation.

Cheers fellow mudders

^^^ That's it you're getting a ticket for distracted driving.:D
I think you need another screen by the shifter. J\K

After a complex shipping problem, my ARB arrived! I got it hung and positioned the winch solenoid box behind the grill like it was with the hidden winch. I was quite surprised with how much drilling is required to hang the bumper. The install should be wrapped up soon!

Can I get some pictures of the brackets you used to mount the solenoid?

I used the solenoid bracket that came with the winch. The winch is the old design Warn VR8000. If you look at pictures of the winch, you will see the solenoid "L" bracket that bolts to the drum support. I simply ground the corner off of the mounting part of that bracket and rotated it 90°. I can try to snap a picture, but it will probably be hard to see anything useful now that it is assembled.

Edit: @hidesertwheelin I had to pull the solenoid to tidy up some cable routing an snapped a pic for you.

That flatbed Chevy!!! Nice!
Thanks! It's a '66 K20 with the original 292, SM420, T221 and HO52/Dana44 axles. Been in the family since the 80's.
