Wandered the prairie looking for Pheasant. No birds to show, but the pup and I did take time to enjoy the sites.

what is that building, the concrete structure
I'll give bonus points to anyone who is able to guess it. If no one gets the answer I'll just tell you. My hint is that there were supposed to be three of them in the US but only one was built (I think it has since been demolished), this one was stopped during construction, and the last was never started.
Cheers,
Scot

'Museum of government folly' and Cold War fear sits on Montana prairie

Replaced my heater hoses and T's. Also since I had no spare tire, I bought a used tire and wheel, had them mounted and put in place.
I'm still getting things sorted out.
Thanks
Dave
2004 LC

Got the interior climate control sensor cleaned and hooked up. Was non op when purchased. AUTO settings seem to function correctly now!

Can you provide more details on this?

Swapped out my blow speakers with some Alpines. Thae old ones were missing their foam surrounds, and the magnets were rusty.
Sounds much better. Easy job except for small details.

Link to where you bought those please? And LC or LX?

New shoes....hopefully get them on this weekend.

For a spare, go with another KO2 to rotate out and get some more miles or go with a cheap 285 75 16?

Also, get the Discount Tire warranty?

Alpine SPS-610C

I was impressed with Crutchfield. They were a little more expensive than Amazon, but included Metra adapters, and a 60 page PDF about removing the components of my 2004 LC.
I may do the rears sometime, but with just new front, the system sounds great to me.
Thanks,
Dave

I did some research here on MUD about my ac only blowing cold when set to 60 degrees when on auto. There was no middle ground. It was muy cold, or cooking.
Right below the ignition is a small vent looking thingy, pardon the technical term here, and behind it is a temp sensor for the auto climate control. Many members had investigated and found that the sensor electrical connector was NOT connected, and a white plastic hose/tube was NOT connected as well. I thought I would remove the panel below the steering wheel and look.
Indeed both were disconnected.
I cleaned the very nawsty looking sensor with some MAF cleaner, hooked it all back up and now the auto temp setting works nicely.
It regulates between hot and cold, and all the different vents to keep the cabin at the desired temp setting.
If you look closely at the pic, this is how I found the hose and electrical connector when I got the panel off.

Thanks for the info

Busy weekend this weekend. Installed my H3R fire extinguisher. Still waiting on my Wits End mounts to ship. So this will suffice for now. Mounted the TYT TH-9800 faceplate. Still gotta run the wires and mount the ham radio. Replaced the ARB 50qt with the new ARB 63qt Elements fridge. Test fitted my new Grille from @kelly saad. Installed the Rhino Rack fishing rod holders.
