This is why I asked you where and what to buy ;)

It's my understanding that 555 sells parts and pieces to other assemblers/companies. They get the body and then stuff it with crap parts. Then the 555 name sticks right out ; guys think "WOW, I got a deal, for 18.99 at Auto Zone" and it's not the same complete assembly. The 4R, FJC and Tacoma crowd run through the "assembled" in the US/China/Malaysia 555 jumble part joints faster than gum looses its flavor.

@cruiseroutfit buys direct from Sankei/555 or an approved 555 source. No BS in those boxes.

Guess that’s why mines already torn.

Just finished putting on the new bumper.
Took about 4 hours including painting the corroded trim, being rained out, and a trip to home Depot to get white
paint.

I really had a hard time coming to terms with cutting into my frame, so that was the hardest part of this install. It was too dark too look at it any more and i was beat. I'll oogle it some more tomorrow.

Had it powdercoated to match my trim as much as my eyeballs could. Pwdered the mounts and spaces black and everything else was satin titanium i believei
Didn't have to use shims at all. Pushed all the way in and up and I'm happy with it. Ties in with the skids nicely. @benc did a great job!

You need to get a better pic than that to show off Ben's artwork! I am jealous!!

Went old school with the grille on La Luna, love the look! The 'Melon's next, but that one I'm going to repaint before it goes on and it was super windy here yesterday, couldn't spray.

Changed the AHC fluid with PADDO's excellent writeup.
Discovered my spare tire key is missing :/

Bought my white 2000 in May. I clay bar'd it a while back but want to get back in there and make another pass at the paint. Now that it is finally cooling off in the FL panhandle hoping I can do so without dying from the heat.

I hear ya brother. I Generally don't do anything on my car for the exception of washing it during the summer months here in Houston.

Mine was chalky as well, clay bar'd it, sprayed an iron remover, and went to town on it. I got lazy the first time around and let it go for almost a year without waxing. It oxidized again and had to start at step one again.

You gotta keep these things waxed regularly to prevent them for oxidizing. I eventually used Cquartz and sealed the car.

Gotta love Toyota for using cheap single stage paint on their white cars.

Got around to a couple things this weekend. Second heater tee replaced, coolant topped off. Spark plugs replaced, thanks to the help of @Poncherelli. Cleaned the MAF but it really wasn't too dirty, same for the Throttle Body. Also cleaned out the air filter box.

I know y'all like these pics. Pretty sure they're the original plugs and tees (replaced at 175k).

Had a great weekend getaway to Delaware and enjoyed 75-degree ocean temps. Gorgeous weekend and we swam with dolphins all day yesterday!

This was our camp, complete with babydoll nursery:

And then it was back to reality, which meant traveling the Jersey Turnpike, where drivers slam on their brakes for fun...I always feel safe in the Hundy.

Installed the tweeters for my component speakers in the rear doors, swapped out my defective driver side door lock assembly and motor, installed a new center console cupholder. While I was at it, I wanted to prepare for any future electrical goodies that are on order, so I installed a Blue Sea Fuse block on a bracket near the battery as well as a terminal block on the firewall.
