Gave her a bath and dressed the tires. They are pretty when they're clean and shiny......

Installed some Primelux 8" LED lights. Tested them real quick and holy toledo they're bright. Next week will be drilling through firewall so I can run the switches for these and the bull bar fog lights. Any tips on your experiences with drilling through the firewall would be much appreciated .

View attachment 1720168 @05JLX470 , nice clean LX there. I just got my hundy back from painting the trim and bumpers to match body color, a la Lexus look. Slowly completing exterior and several other components in my year long 300k renovation.
Rhino rack and Mombasa RTT to come this Summer.
And we know white is the coolest color........ Nice transformation on your LC !!!!

Took the cruiser out to my waterfowl spot, where we happen to have a few deer feeders. Spent the day on the tractor planting our food plots. The cruiser took us all over the property. All my buddies with pickups were really taken by surprise with what the cruiser could do. I was “cruising” right through all of the creek crossings and tight spots that took them a few tries. I miss the utility and king of the road feel of my past pickups but it’s just hard to beat the capability of this thing.

Looking good! My bumper corners need some attention. I’m thinking of going white to match or a dark silver color and paint the rims to match. One of these days....

Touched up grill, bumpers and sliders with some fresh paint the last few days. Definitely not perfect, but not faded and grey looking. Good for another year or two. Now to ponder a new front bumper.

Dude this looks really really good...

Gave the grill a new paint job last night. The faded black and gold emblem just wasn't cutting it anymore.

Replaced the aftermarket rear brake pads the P.O. installed with Toyota pads. The brake squeal I've fought for years is finally gone.

Don't drill thru the firewall. Just go thru the BIG rubber grommet on either side of the engine bay (one on drivers side and one on the passenger side). No need to drill at all. Just cut a small slit in the grommet and pull the lines thru using an electricians fish tape.

I finished the extension of my DIY sleeper platform. After having the cargo section installed for a week or so, I’m thinking it might be a permanent fixture. This thing is super handy! Leave all my daughters softball stuff underneath and still have the top for all the everyday stuff. You know, kids backpacks, groceries, and all the other super cool family crap. :hillbilly:

I also found a Lund Catch All rear floor mat on Amazon for $28 with Prime shipping. It’s a little darker than the factory carpet and it does move a bit, but it’s going to work fine for the price.

Getting ready for a 6 day trip to the Sierra's and liking this idea. Couple questions...

-Is that on top of the 2nd row folded down or did you remove 2nd row?
-How thick is that plywood? Looks like there is no additional bracing to hold the weight of a person or in my case, 2 people.

Got the electrical on the drawer wired in to the secondary battery. Now I can not only see the voltage of batt 2 at a glance, but i have 2 USB outlets and a cig lighter outlet in the rear. Plus LED lights in the rear hatch.
I also built a cage to enclose the fridge so stuff wouldn't fall on the drawer slides

Alternator finally gave out at 177k miles. Cruiser just shut down at idle, no notable warning signs. However, after charging battery and attempting to drive to auto parts store to check, the alternator made the dreaded whine. Replaced with a rebuilt unit from O'Reilly (Denso with lifetime warranty.) So far, working great. Just be sure to bench test the unit. The first one had a damaged connector.

I’m running Falken Wildpeaks 285 75 16s. Got a little of the stink bug back with the 865’s but hoping it’ll settle after a bit. Regardless, I’m super happy with the ride.

Nice looking truck there. Did you just black tint on the windows over your factory gold tint?

This is the setup that I'm leaning toward. A single drawer, likely from Landshark, and a fridge on a slide. I'd like to retain AHC though so I'm not sure it will handle the weight. I'll be replacing the springs with Kings in a couple of weeks.
