Thanks for sharing the list. When was your 2005 made? Some of the numbers are pre or post May 2005 build dates. I'm at 206k miles and looking to do the same. Mine has a pre May 2005 build date.

I used my last for @Jae. Will leave the thread up for those who want to to take @jlm43 up on his offer.

For washboards, use your brakes while driving. Pick a speed, let's say 45 mph, apply just enough brake with your left foot to feel the front end drop and the truck slow down just a bit, then apply a bit more gas to get you back to 45 mph. Once...

Our new LC was a beast in the field. We were loaded up with 4 big dudes and a bunch of gear and the truck handled everything with ease. The King shocks were on the middle setting and we left the tire pressures where they were for street/highway...

O'Reilly's rent (free) a thread chase kit. Which works better than a tap & die, as less chance of cutting threads.

I'm Asian, we start doing math in our mothers' wombs, so no need to check. Man can't believe it's that expensive there, they really want to push out all the ICE cars huh.

You have 75k miles on me, but I have no desire to ditch my 100. I just keep replacing parts and it just keeps going. Mine is not pretty and not worth a restoration, but it is worth keeping it on the road until it rusts out and becomes dust.

jlm43 replied to the thread Rust on LX 470, too much for $18k?.
Generally speaking, if you have to ask if it's too much rust, it is. The rust is not a deal breaker, nor is the price. But that rust at that price would be, for me anyway. What does the rest of the vehicle look like and how many miles are on...

We recently (finally!) were able to put together a detailed video instruction for assembling and installing the Air Down Gear Up drawer and sleeper system in a Landcruiser. This particular install was a 200 Series, but all of the landcruiser...

I'll second these comments. Sliders and skids are 100% function > fashion. They aren't really visible and don't add much to the cool factor, but they will help ensure you get your cruiser home looking the same as when you left. As for the RTT...

Thanks, we are looking forward to the install. Especially the dog. With the 2nd row captains chairs folded, there is still quite a gap between them making it a pain for her to find a spot to lay down. Apparently, laying down near the back door is...

A couple thoughts that may or may not work for you. Do you need the second row seats? If not, contact Air Down Gear Up and see what they can do. If you delete the second row seats, they should be able to fab up some longer drawers that would...

Thanks for the order! We are looking forward to getting you your system! As for the carpeting, that would work well! You'll want to go a little thinner on the carpet to allow the sleeper to fold/stow nice and flat, but we had plenty of customers...

jlm43 replied to the thread 100 Series Salvage/Rebuilt Title.
Being the original owners of a 2003 with 153k miles is worth a significant amount, in my opinion. I would definitely be inclined to keep it but it would depend on the issues and the payout as there's a lot of things to be considered. But to...

I wish I was closer, I would have taken you up on that offer. That being said, we just placed the order for the full sleeper / drawer kit. Any thoughts on using some spray adhesive to attach some marine carpet to the top of the system? I'd like...

Hi Everyone, we wanted to share this with the 'Mud community: Due to a scheduling oversight, we have a GX460 dual drawer + sleeper system ready to be installed! Let our mistake save you leadtime. Installation is now free, and this is available...

I've been running the Rhino Rack stuff for a few years now and it's been super easy to adjust to my needs. I run the Pioneer platform in the summer and the Vortex crossbars in the winter. With the Vortex bars, you can either use a cargo topper or...
