Just about done with the installation of my Slee rear bumper

I actually did this like a month ago but I finished my storage system (for now). I actually have them carpeted now, but no pics. I will take some soon.

Cranked TBs a little while ago and apparently after a little settling I am a little too level. I don't have the money to do suspension all at once right now, but I am thinking about getting some 860s or 865s and then doing shocks when I have time and money in the spring. Any input on this?

Very nice, who makes that battery?

@vipergrhd @guardcompany It's an Odyssey PC-2150ST it has both standard and threaded terminals. Man the threaded ground terminal cut it close to the hood but fit. There are two other models with just one set of either terminals. batterymart.com is generally the best place to find them and if you register and wait, they will send you coupons.

Here is a vid I did where I compared interstate, odyssey, and optima. They odyssey's generally edge out the competition on performance but are expensive. I will have vids of the install of the primary, aux, and full dual battery setup in early January.

Thank you so much for posting this! As a graphic designer who loves learning about culture and typography across cultures and someone who has only embraced the Toyota for about a year, I found this absolutely fascinating.

Changed engine oil, F&R diff, and transfer case gear oil 6k from my first change. Diffs and transfer case looked like they may have never been done by PO in initial 101k, so i figured decreasing the interval between changes was good insurance. Engine and rear diff looked great, will likely extend the interval with data from Blackstone. Transfer case and front diff were better than previously, but still a bit much debris in the fluid and the magnet so I'll continue short intervals there. No issues or funny noises, just want a clean baseline.

Battery died (shipped 2012), replaced with group 27F Bosch. Deep-cycle AGM upgrade will come with dual-battery setup eventually, but I use a cooler not fridge so not a huge priority.

Installed my first, and likely only, sticker:

Installed the media mount from @Ramathorn15, this thing is awesome and very solid. More details in his thread. Pardon the dust, got a little dirty in the desert.

Installed a prototype of my new grill, the SharkNet.

My face is breaking into a huge grin every time I walk up to my truck right now ;)

That's the cool thing about designing stuff *you* want - even if it fails commercially because someone knocks it off or you miscalculate costs or whatever, you get to enjoy it!

(any questions please head over to the SharkNet (a product build thread) this is just my opportunity to share what I did with my hundy because otherwise I never have time to do anything to post here :(

Got the Heater T's done. 2006, 189k miles. Car was very well maintained, by Cruiser shops, but amazingly they never changed them. When I asked why, they seemed surprised themselves, that they hadn't done it. Needless to say, people are correct when saying to get them done. Who knows how long they would have lasted, but it is worth it for the piece of mind alone.

The shop also convinced me to get the headlights restored, with their buffer. Looks great. Picture stinks because it was dark out once I got it home. I hope it lasts. Makes the car look that much newer. I had tried some of those DIY kits, but none seemed to make a big difference.

Also, survived the Austin Blizzard of 2017, and gave the LX a nice wash for surviving the intense flurries.

Looks great. I was thinking the same type of thing for mine. The 100 really looks much better with an updated grille. Thinking the same with my 80, get busy chopping out the middle and fabbing a new center. I was thinking 70 series grill emblem, looks like that's what you did (?). Perhaps I should just click on your thread and answer my own questions!

Like i said @cruzerDave I should have read the thread first! Pm coming for your design!
