Well it's not the 33s I had planned for but I couldn't pass up the deal from a fellow ONSC member.
Thanks boss!

Stock sized BFG KOs all measuring @13/32nds for 250 bucks.

Yeah I'll run them until I can save for my 33s, so staying out of debt and having some great looking rubber for the trip to Ocracoke next month and this year was just the smarter "wiser" thing to do.

I think they make the rig look so much better!

Wanted the Mako to stand out from the crowd. The goal was to mimic TRD styling, and make it look like this could come from Lexus. I used Rustoleum Flexi-Dip for the base, and gloss red for the top coat. That way it's completely removable. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on some Tundra TRD wheels, add TRD hub caps, and get some General Grabber X3's to continue the red theme. I know, the tire... I ran out of plastic ;)

Getting ready for Moab. Trail Tailor extra protection and a little homemade of our own.

Finished the first transmission flush ever on the truck. 138k miles. I was hesitant to change it, but after seeing the old fluid, I'm so glad I did. I actually had a heart sinking moment when I pulled the drain plug because the fluid was so black I thought maybe I accidentally pulled the oil pan plug.

Rebuilt the starter solenoid.

Added PFRAN interior kit.

Swapped out the factory HU with a Pioneer 8000NEX. Also deleted the cig lighter and installed dual USB wired back to the Pioneer for Apple CarPlay capability.

Next up is sourcing a label/cap for the transfer case shift knob...

Where are you from/where is the truck? Just wondering because of the rear a/c and heat controls. I only have one button which is on or off. The temp and speed can only be controlled by the panel on the ceiling in the back (driver rear area). I mainly just leave is set on 70 degrees and in "auto."

Hmm, didn't know it was an option. This is my first LC, though, so no frame of reference for me. It's a 2000, and I'm in NH. Original owner was in California.

I was wondering the same thing!!

Got her back Friday after she was in the bodyshop for three days... it had to do with some paint repair that involved the area that was covered by the stupid running board rear corner covers. After I pulled them off last year, I noticed the paint was starting to get soft and bubble in a 1"x1" area on both sides, and the trailing edge of the rocker which intersected the rear wheelwell was beginning to look a little scaly which was a bad sign. Anyone who still has their running boards please check those corners as a whole bunch of sh*t likes to collect in that area especially in the winter. I'm absolutely obsessive about keeping salt and crap off in the winter but it's inevitable. Mine wasn't rotting through, but it looked questionable so I had it taken care of before it turned into something worse!

Today was a day for spring cleaning!

Did an oil change, cleaned the throttle body and MAF sensor, reset the ECU, did a full interior and exterior detail with claybar, two stage buff, and two coats of paint sealant; I'm exhausted!

@PaulLx470 visited for the day and worked on his 200 as well.
