@musthave What have you done to your truck? And what year is it? The pre-03's have the 4 speed and while they get around fine, they are far from quick. The only time I've heard of a hundy being truly quick is with a 5 speed and the TRD supercharger.

I've done all baselining, from plugs, wires, hoses, filters, water pump, Radiator, fluids, gaskets, everything. And it runs so fast, smooth.

My 0 to 60 is 6 seconds, not bad for this behemoth. It's just fast. I felt similarly about one of my 80's, it was just so much faster than my others. It's like two cruisers came off the line behind each other and ones just built for speed.

Again, coming from inline 6 so...

It's a 2000.

Finish today to change my tyres, 275/70/16 bfg at with 265/75/16 cooper discoverer Stt Pro.
I instal some spacers, 1.25'' . Love the new look

Warn zeon winch. Installation was challenging, had to move the control unit to the top of the bumper.

LMFAO! More like 9 seconds haha. Is there a comedy/joke thread somewhere we can move this post to? I would bet that even with a supercharger 0-60 in 6 seconds is not likely with a 2000 Cruiser. I wish my placebo worked this good.

@musthave You're gonna need a video to prove that one. It's physically impossible for a 4 speed cruiser to hit 60 in 6 seconds stock.
I'll have to video it, I counted to 6. It's freaking fast. Or I'm a slow counter.

Wired new converter. Old one was toast. Looking forward to some towing in the near future. 7-Pin connector.

More front locker install preparation > Solenoids and switches.

My son's LC had been showing signs of worn starter contacts for a few months that were slowly getting worse.
Replaced the starter and heater Ts
What were the symptoms? I wonder if that's what I'm experiencing.

Watched my kid swap out a turn signal/headlight stalk in his 2000 LC:

(The old one was acting a little strange, like cutting the lights for a fraction of a second when you used the turn signals at night)

The hardest part was letting him figure it out for himself.

On a cold start, when you turn the key to start you get a "click" (on a good strong battery, with good solid connections). Turn the key again and it starts right up. It progresses to a point where you'll get 8-10 "clicks" before it will start. When we got to 50/50 chance of it giving the click, and more than 2 "clicks" for a start, we swapped it out.

I saw the same behavior on my old 80 series.

Procedure for replacing 100 series(98 and up) starter contacts
