I flew from San Diego to Detroit to pick up my first 100 series. I mean, who doesn't fly 2/3 of the way across the country in the middle of winter just to road trip their new rig home? Happy to be part of this forum. Thanks all for the wealth of information!
Congrats! I flew to ATL and drove mine back to Memphis! Good way to get a good idea of all the changes you want to make, haha

Turns out the four rubber cusions for the two levels in the center console can be purchased for $10.19

I replaced my factory underseat amp with a Kenwood TM-V71A ham radio.

(Previous/original owner was not clean and stained the carpet something terrible)

Wait, what?

When bypassing the factory stereo amp I noticed the size of the amp was almost identical the the radio body of the Kenwood. A little grinding and drilling a few holes in the amp brackets was all it took to securely mount the Kenwood under the passenger seat.

I ran power directly to the battery, mounted a communication speaker to the OBDII port bracket, ran a data cable to the center console for a TNC, extened the microphone and control panel cables near the shifter and finally, mounted the antenna to a Gamiviti fender mount.

Rotated tires.

Rotated and balanced the KO2s. Also had them pumped up to 45 PSI and I love how they feel compared to the 38 PSI I had been running for the past 1K miles - might try 50 PSI next time.

Throw us a bone man! Lol...

We wanna see those covers!!!!, :D

I am really considering getting a set.
. Pretty nice covers. I got the dark tan they are still brand new so not as snug as I hope they will be after some seat time and when I snug em up. Install super easy and a good material . The wait time was a killer at 2 months but they do custom make em ...

changed the oil with some rotella and a napa gold filter. Then
removed the factory side steps!!!

-new hood struts
-new taillight bulb
-ordered parts for fron bumper build
-ordered AHC fluid for a flush
-bought a used welder!

New SPC UCA's and a diff drop. It was pretty straight forward.

Got it aligned, but the SAI is out, FSM says 12.5 degrees, if I read it correctly. Anybody have this experience and know the procedure for getting everything to be green? Spc washer setting is "C" , tbars lift is about 1.5" on 33's.

Walked out after letting the Cruiser sit in the rain for a couple of days and checked the rear cargo area for water. Found a wet carpet & pad a while back, but never found the source of the leak.
It's back.

Sunday, it's raining, might as well find it now....
Take out a couple of parts... look for water....

Seems to be dripping on top of the speaker housing....

Do a search on MUD and find info on the 1/4 window belt moulding leaking around the clips.
Yep, that's it.

Off to search for sealant and parts tomorrow.
