Been hunting LX/LC's for a couple months now, slowly gauging the market to see how they are selling. Happened to find an Lx470 w/ 120k on Autotrader a couple weeks ago about 3-4 hours north. The price was right so I pulled the trigger.

Fast forward to this weekend, I detailed the crap out of it. Probably have about 10-12 hours alone in cleaning time. I did it all, vacuumed, shampooed, leather cleaner and conditioner, interior wipe down, clayed the exterior, washed and applied protection, wheels/tires thoroughly cleaned and an engine/hood cleaning.

Also did the timing belt since I couldn't find any records of it being done. The original belt looked amazing and the motor itself didn't have any leaks. Cooling system especially looked like it rolled off the factory floor. Grabbed the Aisin TKT-021 kit off amazon, thermostat/o-ring from the local dealer and 4 jugs of Zerex Asian HOAT coolant. This was my 2nd 2uz-fe timing belt. Overall, pretty easy engine to do a belt on.

I’ve been out of the Cruiser game away from the forum for too long!

Just picked up these Tundra wheels to replace the stock wheels with peeling chrome.

I made more progress on my battery management system last night and I'm pretty proud of this one...

I've drawn most of my inspiration from @badlander who has one of the nicer battery systems I've seen. I wanted mine to look just as clean as his, so I knew I would need to fab some brackets for my circuit breaker and my ACR. This was the biggest unknown for me as I haven't done any sheet metal work since high school metals class where I created a dust pan lol, so this was a fun project.

I picked up a sheet of 16ga CRS and a Harbor Freight sheet metal bend brake and got to work. @kelly saad recommended I do mock fitments with cardboard and glue then transfer that to the metal, which I did just that. I used a beer box and some super glue and it worked out excellently. So thanks Kelly, you da man!

I just need to paint the circuit breaker bracket and get some proper hardware to secure it and that one is done. I hope to work on the ACR bracket this weekend if time allows.

Yay for Awning.

I used the Yakima clamps and brackets that they use on the Yakima Slim Shady awning. The bracket bolt holes needed to be bored out towards the edge to work but it seems stout and the clamps allow for easy on and easy off.
