It's been so long that I forgot. I bet I didn't. I'll switch out the fluid before the cold comes around and apply a new gasket. The front is only 1.8 qts, it's a cheap flush.

New beefed up arms from Metal Tech. OEM bent ones gone. Extended links for the rear sway bar. Front ones go in today -- thanks to @perrobravo for these. Ready for an alignment

Got new rubber - 285/75-16 Falken Wildpeak AT3W.
Aggressive yet super smooth rolling and crazy quiet, great price compared to competing tires - very happy!
Previous Duratratracs had almost 65k and were worn very sloppy and cupped and super duper noisy. Hope to get same miles and stay quiet this time.

^ the 4Runner guys LOVE those tires.

Prompted by @bushdoctor I finally got around to getting the front sway bar links on my 100 extended. Added 2.5" in length, following the recommendation made by @RobRed in this article for the height of my truck. Haven't had a chance to test off road yet, but the sway bar doesn't bind when cycling the suspension and the bushings don't look as compressed as they did before when the truck is sitting level.

Pulled the links from my truck and bought a couple new sets (Toyota part number: 48820-60032) to modify for @sortmanfdxg and @bushdoctor .

Back from the welder, painted with some Toyota gray I found in my garage, lower bushings reinstalled (which was the hardest part of the job).

Installed!

^ouch!

Did my switch to Mobil 1. I'm hoping for no leaks. I tried to change my fuel filter, but that nut will not budge. I thought I was going to snap the fuel line. I PB Blasted it, but still no movement. Sucks, I'll have to pay some to change it down the line. I noticed a slight oil wetness on my front diff from when I changed it in the spring. Think I need a new plug? I tighten it to spec.

I changed my fuel filter recently, and same as you that nut will not budge. It took a lot of force, much more than I thought it would. I use PB Blaster, soak it. Then a few days later try it again, and this time it works. I was probably too careful, but I did not want to break anything.

take out the black rectangle holder cup and pull up. OR lift up from the vinyl boot area, take the knob off first. there are four clips. It comes right up

Changed my alternator over the weekend because the one I had before was noisy. Turns out the new one I put in is also noisy. I should have listened to some of you and got a Denso instead from the beginning.

The Supra LSD carrier that I installed after my r&p broke on me back in March also went bye bye. Passenger side cv axle decided to not stay locked inside....... tore that out yesterday and put a stock carrier back in front diff. I was really lucky the piece that shattered inside the LSD unit didn't eat the r&p or anything else.
Which brings me to this aghhhh..... my wife is like if that one isn't going to constantly need maintenance..... Just go buy it! s*** but I've literally replaced or rebuilt everything that could need it!!! But this one is so nice and clean!

Have you flushed the power steering? It can be noisy, just as the idler & tension pulley bearings as well. I like to double flush or even triple, 1qt at a time with M1 MV syn AFT.

Yup. I did that about 8-10k miles ago. I'm pretty certain it's the alternator because the the whine is different than it was before I swapped them. I still have my skids off so I'll take a closer look just in case.
