I ordered a few smaller item of weatherstripping to give them a try. Unless it is clearly OEM stuff, I would advise to say away. Their "in house" weatherstripping is a joke - not even same/similar material nor is it the correct thickness. I'm glad I only lost out on about $10. Lesson learned.

Anyone...please help me to contact Dentdepot.com

Anyone...please help me to contact Dentdepot.com.

I really need those parts to rebuild my vehicle.

Now, I am afraid dealing or make transactions with other US online store..

Something really strange is going on here...

My dealings with Mike, Gaylon, Jason etc at DentDepot left me really impressed with their cruiser-knowledge, fairness and helpfulness.

Perhaps this proves how worthless these threads are at coming to any sort of valid conclusion (for others to follow) on who is good to deal with and who isn't?

If they were "bad news" surely they would tend to rip off someone like me who lives the other side of the world. (They never knew I was a "prolific poster on IH8MUD" when I clicked their buy-nows and when we began dealing with each other.) But on the contrary - I got honesty and the best of service!

:frown::frown::frown:

help you contact them? man up and contact them yourself!! - if you can't settle an issue for yourself don't expect someone else to come running

call them up. keep calling them. get the answers

remember this is a tech forum not a bunch of laywers or policemen

EDIT: i just saw you are in a different country.. not sure what the issue is.. are you calling or e-mailing? if you're not calling them then you're going about it the wrong way - you can't post on a forum or expect that an e-mail is read - gotta get that good old personal contact

I had a great experience with these guys a couple weeks ago, I think it was Gaylon I worked with. I needed a windshield ASAP as I broke mine on the garage floor. I ended up calling them, since I didn't want the delay of working through Ebay. Called on Friday morning, it was in the mail Friday afternoon, and on my doorstep Monday afternoon. Never had any problems getting them on the phone or contacting them via ebay. Product was packaged great for a windshield! I'd do business with again, gotta know what you're ordering though.

Seems fine to me also.

I bought two "rebuilt" front doors for my FJ40 form them on eBay. One was pretty good - although it had some shipping damage (which I could fix), the other had 1/2" bend in the face panel near the bottom. They seemed reasonable on the phone and after emailing them photos, they asked me to ship it back to them. I paid to ship it back (not cheap) and got the replacement back in about two weeks. Lo and behold they sent the SAME door back to me with the SAME damaged face, except this time the packaging was so bad, it was really beat-up. They wouldn't return my phone calls after that. Probably could have made a claim to FedEx but I got really tired of the hassle. Just repaired it myself - thought I could use the practice. I will not buy anything from them again, but that's just me.

I have bought quite a bit of stuff through them over the last few months without a problem, in fact I found them very helpful. On one order I ordered 2x of one item but received only 1x. I emailed them and the missing part was shipped to me swiftly without a hassle. I will be continuing to buy from them with confidence.

As far as buying aftermarket parts versus OEM from any dealer I can only say this: If you buy aftermarket then do not expect the parts to be of the same quality as OEM. These days most of that stuff comes from China and it is mainly JUNK. So if you are going to be a cheapskate and try to save some money by going aftermarket be prepared to loose money, not save. I give you this from my own experience.

As with everything there are always exceptions to the rule so I am not meaning to bag "all" aftermarket parts. However, I have found aftermarket parts to be generally disappointing and I don't go there if I have a choice of buying OEM :wrench:
