What do I have? 40 newb (4 Viewers)

Friday night I was able to spend a couple hours on the 40 after everyone went to sleep. Having my garage under the house is a love hate thing. But hey I’m not complaining. It’s air conditioned.

Got the engine and trans mated, bolted in the chassis and cleaned up my mess a little.

It feels like a huge step, mostly because I’ll have 40% more room in my garage without the engine stand, hoist and parts laying around.

Today I got around and started putting the new radiator in wifeys Sequioa. Installed the new headlights I’ve had for a while and detailed it out.

Then proceeded to spend the afternoon in the pool with the family.

We shall see what tomorrow brings other than mowing the yard.

30 minutes here. Hopefully 30 minutes there.

New knock sensors, harness, intake gaskets. Intake bolted down. Throttle cable installed.

Thanks @SipLife for the throttle cable link in your thread. Quite possibly the easiest install of this whole swap. Literally bolted in and cut off the excess length.

I had an amazing day with my daughter. Took her along on a small consulting gig. Went and got lunch then went to the shoe store to find her some new kicks. She’s my best friend.
These truly are the important things.
