What did you do with your truck this week?

Replaced the clutch slave cylinder, amazing how much grime gets built up in that system.

Charged the battery in the 55 and changed over to a gear reduction starter with an 80 pos. cable, and it fired right up as if it had not been sitting for 4 months...drove it around for a bit and found out the gas gauge is broken. Luckily I was on my way home so it was only about a half a mile walk.

I start the 60 axle/brake rebuild tomorrow then to change out the 62 slush box to a manual...still can't decide between a 4 or 5 speed...

Washed the Bull yesterday, pressure washer and a scrub brush, but I finally got the old mold of. Maybe I should wash it a little more regularly.

Oh yeah I love it...gonna try and pressure wash it soon...and a brand new carb makes a world of difference too

Nice. Ordered my Tundra front brakes for the 4runner today and everything to rebuild the rear brakes and axles seals.

Rebuilt an old ARB compressor John Lee gave me a year ago. It's been sitting in pieces for a year. I finally decided to install the bearings and seals. Works like a charm.

Also, got my Waeco working again after replacing the main PCB (square one). I didn't bother installing the controller PCB since it seems to working now.

Glad you are getting fixed Rick.

I took the GX out on Sat to scout for the Overland Rally.

They want me to teach the beginners class...MUHAHAHA

Sounds like Marshall needs to join us...his wife already works at Clemson, move down here and you and Steve can split a warehouse and have at it.

New stuff is already in. I've got the sore back and neck to prove it. So far no new CEL's so going to retest for the emissions this week.

Saw DP yesterday - he told me about the scouting and after hours festivities. I could probably help with that class (as a graduate of the DK Offroading University of Lithonia). :hhmm:

Sounds good to me. If there are enough students there will probably need to be multiple classes to ensure proper coverage. Regardless, we can use your truck for the "what not to do" scenarios and mine for the "right way" to follow up (jk) :P
