Fighting with a code 21 and 28 this weekend, will probably have to breakdown and get 2 new sensors. Going to try and clean the connectors one more time today and if it still comes on when driving home from Santa Cruz later I'll order new ones when I get paid later in the week.

I did fix my broken passenger seat earlier in the week with the kit the Mud member sells so I did have one win this week.

Spent the day with visiting family exploring the windward side. Girls day out with the LC with my sister in law Jenna.

Little late.
A few weeks ago we packed up our WW kayaks gear and dog, drove to the Ottawa River to play at Garberator Wave.
By the way the Freestyle World Cup was here and yes we attended.

Anyhow on my first ride I pulled something? Thought, oh just a cramp after 5 hours of driving so circled back dropped in again only to feel like I' d been shot! Needless to say I was forced to wank around for three days.

Saturday night dog of course in the truck to sleep. Sunday morning I wake up to find the dog outside...thinking better check for skunk or porcupine quills, thank goodness we're OK.

But wait! I open the hatch to find dog crap from one end to the other, front seats the same, middle row disgusting!

What to do? nearest town 30 miles away, so get in and give'r before the heat of day bakes this s*** in.
On the drive my buddies kayak goes airborne while I am passing someone, s***!
Turn around and finally find it in the weeds, back onto the truck with sore ribs and have to laugh because only his boat ever falls off, plus the wounds look good on his boat.

Now find a car wash, park the rig and start moving crap, cell phone cables, e-brake cover, seat cover, dry bags everything is covered. Mats covered, seat belts covered this is a s*** show!
Finally I am ready to wash the truck, but wait, in my haste I've left the lights on and my fan running full on....ahhhhh dead battery!

So here I am stuck, then I spot the vacuum cleaner, ok drop some change and give her s***. vacuum cleans up most but there are spots where not even the good vacuum could reach.
Since then I have shampooed the s*** out of her, added some fabreze travellers yet, the smell strangely lingers and all I can do is laugh.

You need to finish blacking out the front end. Take the marker light buckets off, scuff them up and paint them black.

The effect is well worth it, imo.
Totally agree, it's on my list to do!

We were there too. First trip for us in the 80. Handled the dunes very well! Dragged a stuck Super Duty (with trailer), to the beach. No pics, but that guy was impressed. Hoping to get a RTT for upcoming trips.

That's awesome! I didn't know you got rid of the 4Runner and got an 80series! I saw you there! Yours a 91-92? Looks like my tent lights are pretty visible lol

Ran the Barrett Lake trail with fellow Mud member Finnyfam60. I have not been on this trail since 1991 and Finny had never done it. It was like I had never done it either for that matter!
This trail is rated 9/10 and I agree. 100feet through the gate I dented my passenger door on a tree. This spot is one of the toughest on the trail. This trail is bordered very closely with trees and boulders, has countless hairpin turns and rocks in the middle. It is approximately 4 miles long. The trip in took over 6 hours but involved hold ups due to the mechanical problems of others (broken motor mount and punctured oil filter). The trip out took about 5 hours with quite a bit of on coming traffic. Of course we had the only 80's on the trail and got plenty of looks and comments. Between the two of us we winched 4 times, reseated one tire bead and sustained substantial damage to one OEM rear LCA. All in all, not too bad. The dust was beyond description!!

punctured oil filter?
It was a CJ-7 with V-8. Motor mount broke and motor dropped a bit. He was in a s***ty spot. Nice jeep with d60's and Atlas 4.2.
